Our first KCBS competition of 2022 is a wrap. We thank the organisation of Spring-break bbqcontest in Lommel Belgium for a fantastic event. Three days of BBQ fun with SCA Whole Hog, Double SCA Steak and KCBS.

Big Congrats to Smokey The Boar for winning the Whole Hog 🐖🏆. Faute for winning 1st place in Steak A and Reader for 1st place Steak B.
Southern Dutch BBQ for GC KCBS and Parkstad Smokers for their RGC.

Our result for the KCBS:

Chicken 9th
Pork Ribs 17th
Pork 12th
Brisket 12th

Overall good for 11th place out of 31 teams.

Next event: Eastern BBQ Contest Ninove Belgium.

Again a fantastic weekend at BBQ Wedstrijd De Vaartse Hoeve. With the help of the amazing products of Croix Valley, the , Hunsaker Smokers and B&B Charcoal we managed to improve our last year results with a 2nd place Brisket🐃 and an 8th place call for Ribs🐖! Good for an 11th place overall!

Klaar voor de wedstrijd! De vaartsehoeve

Last weekend we had our first competition of 2021 at Eastern BBQ Contest in Ninove Belgium. As our last competition was more than a year ago we were happy it was a double back to back contest. As our routines were a bit rusty we were also cooking with new products as the Arkassippi rubs and Croix Valley Seasonings & Sauces. Rubs and sauces we haven't used before in competition.

Nevertheless we were quite happy with the results of our cooking on the first day but we needed to make some adjustments to improve our taste scores. Best result 6th place Pork🐖.

The second day we were a little bit more comfortable with our routines and with some small changes we managed to endup with our first, first place award! Category Chicken🐔!!!🥳🥳💪

- 11th Brisket
- 13th Ribs
- Pork 🙈

Congrats to Southern Dutch BBQ with their double GC and IQ BBQ with his double RGC and all the teams who got their names called.
