It has been 1 year since we establish our company Sumak. Thanks to you, we had a very busy and enjoyable year. This new adventure has given us a lot.
We have closed our New Year’s Eve orders. Thanks for all your orders. All the tired days made us feel loved. If we turned down your order we are really sorry.
We’re closed till 10th of January. In order to us catching some rest and getting full of energy for the new year.

This Chritsmas and New year, we prepare our mezze plate next to our freshly frozen food for your feast table. You could order it now.
We continue to prepare Sumak Mezze Plate every Friday, and we also provide home delivery service for a while.
Due to the new rules, we will not be able to serve at the Food Court on Friday evenings for the next 3 weeks. That's why we decided to have our Mezze Plates home delivered. Place your order until Thursday, and your Sumak’s Mezze Plate will come to your home on Friday evening.
We believe that we are achieving the taste of Biberli Ekmek baked in the tandoor not only by its shape but also by its taste.
We are happy to continue preparing our mezze plates for our customers. This is for a group that wanted coronaproof plates. We prepared the plates for them per person.
If your profession is a cook, you have a 24/7 non-stop shift. Sometimes we don't want to see the food we cook for our customers at home, and sometimes we find ourselves craving for them. At such times, we prepare it at home as if we did not wrap 3 kg of leaves yesterday😅
Cooking time for you is only 15 minutes, but preparation time is close to 4 hours. After kneading the dough, we let it rest for 2 hours, when the dough is ready, we shape it with our hands, let it rest for 30 minutes and fill it with our special mixtures.
Mantı(Turkish Dumpling) is one of the most important dishes of Turkish cuisine. It is very difficult to prepare, but at the same time, eating delicious homemade mantı is an indispensable pleasure. Ours is freshly frozen on a tray and baked in the oven in just 9 minutes. Give it a try, you won't regret it.
📣Side Dish Tip Wednesday
Today we will give you a delicious recipe. You can consume it with meat dishes or as an mezze.
Aubergine Slices filled with Feta&Sundried Tomatoes Mixture,
1 long aubergine
150g Feta cheese
3-4 sundried tomatoes
4-5 sprigs of parsley
1tbsp olive oil
Salt
Spices of your choice(optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
First of all, soak the dried tomatoes in boiling water for 10 minutes. Cut the aubergines thinly lengthwise and grill them in a grill pan or toaster. Take the grilled eggplant slices in a deep bowl and sprinkle olive oil and some salt on them. Close the lid to sweat. Crush the feta with a fork, add the chopped parsley and dried tomatoes that you cut into small cubes, add olive oil and spices of your choice, then make it paste. Take 1 tbsp of feta mixture into a cylinder shape with your hand and wrap the grilled eggplant on it. That’s all. Enjoy🤗

We started meeting with you at Het Cruydenhuisch from the end of last summer. We are very happy with your high demand especially for our Sumak Meyhane Dinner. However, you know that due to the new rules, unfortunately, we have to close our meyhane at 20:00. As such, we decided to move the hours earlier and to serve between 16:00-20:00. These hours maybe early for you or you may not want to eat out. For this reason, we will prepare a take away Sumak Meyhane menu for you with a pre-order.
In addition to this for your Christmas and New Years Eve’s feast table, besides our frozen food we will also prepare our fresh mezzes for this year. We have already started to take your orders. You can contact us for information.

You have two options to taste Sumak’s Simit Kebab. You can buy it frozen and cook it at home either in the oven or in the pan. The second option is come to on Friday evening between 18:00-20:00 and we will prepare this delicious dish for you.

It's very easy to make a fava. You don't even need to do a lot of chopping. However the quality of the broad beans greatly affects the taste. After trying almost every kind of broad beans, we decided to use the shelled one. Yes, our preparation phase has increased 4 times 🙃 Even though it is a bit of a torture for us to soak the broad beans in water the day before and peel them one by one the next day. When we eat it, we forget all the difficulties we had with it.
Oruk is very precious to us. It is both one of the first dishes of Sumak and a different&delicious kibbeh experience that can be cooked in the oven. You can find Sumak’s Oruk freezers.
Frying is a messy process with plenty of preparation. If you do not want to get into this greasy and messy process, you can take these delicious meatballs out of your freezer and cook them in the airfryer in a short time.
