One of the absolute greats among guitarists of today! Pavel captures his audience with his inspiring, unique and wonderful musicianship. We are so lucky to have him return to Groningen this year, but now as part of the festival! He will be giving a solo recital on the 19th of February. We cannot wait! 🤩

Coming Saturday, October 12, the Petrus & Pauluskerk will be filled with many guitarists, participants of the workshops; ‘Hallo gitaar workshop’, the ensemble workshop, and the flamenco workshop! We are thrilled to see that so many of you have applied!

’Boaz Roelevink is op 20 januari 2002 geboren in het Friese stadje Franeker, maar toen hij anderhalf jaar was verhuisde hij met zijn familie naar Zuid-Afrika. Er werd in het gezin veel muziek gedraaid en al snel ontdekte hij zijn liefde voor country, blues en soul. Tussen de wijngaarden rondom het huis stond de jonge Boaz vaak met zijn vader te zingen. Op 13-jarige leeftijd en inmiddels met zijn familie teruggekeerd naar Nederland, pakte hij een gitaar op, en zo geschiedde.
