Especially music from the top 40. In the time when maxi-singles were made, mixing started for me. I always liked having a longer version of a song in the Top 40. So every Friday I went to the local record store to do some shopping. With those maxi-singles you could of course mix well. Then came the maxi-cd singles. At that time, I worked at a local radio station Radio Heerde, which has now become
Radio 794. I had a program there with the local top 10. Then the idea arose to make an annual mix. This was in the late 90's. In that time I made three. When I stopped at this broadcaster, the mixing actually stopped. After a while I got the urge to do something with music again, but not just the music, also the accompanying video clips. That's why I decided to pick up mixing again in 2016 and I made a video year mix. Since then I have returned to my hobby as a (video) mixer. I already have a number of video year mixes to my name. I also made a number of Somertijd Weekend Dance Mixes for Radio 10. This is an item in the Somertijd program on Radio 10. Every Friday a mix is broadcast there, which is made by a listener.
