On 18th March 2013, Sweet Island is registrered in the Chamber of Commerce in Netherland as italian bakery/patisserie.

- We make everything from apetizers to sweets in an authentic italian way, following our ouwn family recipes and using fresh ingredients.

- We cater italian meals and sweets for any occasions from parties to weddings. Please contact us for more info.

- We make also cakes and me

als with lactose free, gluten free, vegan and vegeterian people.

Dear everybody,
I want, first of all, THANK YOU for your support.❤️

Covid period was terrible and, after, even worst that I had/have heart problems too.
A new business in 2021 came up and it's completely different that, lucky, it is going better and better.
And until June, I thought I could manage both, but most of the orders I had to cancel or to not accept (i'm very sorry of it!)

It was very difficult to take this decision and can't go through it anymore.
With "pain in my heart", I'm going to stop with catering and baking.

I met, during those 11 years, a lot of incredible people. I remember all your special moments and all cakes, buffet, catering and giro-pizza.

🤩Yesterday i could follow "how to make PAELLA" (even if we already made it a lot of times!) with a spanish nonno, who was the best spanish chef in Eindhoven.

I feel it was an honour for me to know his secrets and listen to his stories.
I'm very grateful and lucky for it!❤️

Our nonni are a priceless treasure and a precious gift, not only for their wisdow and their stories, but also because they are the custodian of traditional recipes.

Above all they are our first influencers and the best teachers of artisanal food. Thier culinary skills and knowledge indeed influence our life and the importance of choosing natural ingredients.

Those experiences are good for the heart and soul!

🤩Ieri ho potuto vedere "come fare la PAELLA" (anche se l'abbiamo già fatta un sacco di volte!) con un nonno spagnolo, che era il miglior chef spagnolo di Eindhoven.

Ê stato un onore per me conoscere i suoi segreti e ascoltare le sue storie.
Sono molto grata e fortunata per questo!❤️

I nostri nonni sono un tesoro inestimabile e un dono prezioso, non solo per la loro saggezza e i loro racconti, ma anche perché sono i custodi delle ricette tradizionali.

E soprattutto sono i nostri primi "influencer" e i migliori maestri del cibo artigianale.
Le loro abilità e conoscenze culinarie influenzano infatti la nostra vita e l’importanza di scegliere ingredienti naturali.

Queste esperienze fanno bene al cuore e all’anima!
