For the recent festival, we welcomed German radio legend Klaus Fiehe back to Leiden. Known to many as the 'German John Peel', he hosts his own show 1LIVE FIEHE on public radio WDR since 1994 and remains one of few German DJs with a free selection of music.

In his 03/03 broadcast, Klaus digs into the festival, visiting Leiden and, of course, some of the new discoveries he made at , including music by performing acts Brintex Collective & Use Knife.

Peel Slowly and See invites Edison-winning saxophonist Bart Wirtz as their 'Artist in Residence' for the upcoming edition of the festival. The versatile Leiden-based musician, known for his recordings in jazz and electronic music, accepted the challenge to explore new musical territories and formed The Eminent Sessions: a brand new indie/rock band, inspired by Hendrix, Radiohead & The Velvet Underground, debuting at .

dj. flugvél og geimskip (“Airplane & Spaceship” in Icelandic) is the one-person orchestra of Steinunn Hardardottir drawing influences from a thousand worlds. Electronic horror-music with a space twist: playful beats, bass, catchy melodies & joyfully off-kilter vocals. Songs about alien worlds, mysteries and dangers of the night, performed live in a shared, colorful & poetic lucid dream. This Icelandic spaceship lands in Leiden on 02/03.
