Blessed Imbolc 🕯
Imbolc is usually celebrated from sunset on February 1st to February 2nd . We observe that winter is coming to an end and spring is around the corner. The sun reminds us of that today!

During this festival, the Celts thank the goddess Brighid. She is keeper over house and hearth. To honour her, people purify their homes. The great spring cleaning!

: The first band to open the Balfolk Friday at Castlefest 2024 was Fior. They used their musical magic to transform old German songs into modern folk tunes with a groovy twist. Quite impressive if you could manage to stand still while listening!

La Horde will join us at Castlefest 2025! Does this band need an introduction? They’ve been on our stage in pyjamas, gym suits and even just underwear. You don’t want to miss their pyjama party with legendary pillow fight!
