On Saturday August 31 Louwman’s Toyota World will be hosting the Abarth European Meet 2024. We are partnering with the Abarth European Meet team that will be hosting Abarths coming from all over Europe here at the museum to show off Abarths from old and new.

What is happening on the day:

Event Time: 11.00am - 17.00pm
Display car owners and spectators will have access to the museum
Access to see all the Abarths on show

Tromgeroffel, moment stilte, rook, bam!!! De datum voor het EMWalhalla 2025 is bekend. Zaterdag 10 mei, natuurlijk weer bij Louwman's Toyota World in Raamsdonksveer. Vertel ons dus volgend jaar niet dat je het jammerlijk hebt moeten missen, want wij leggen nu eerder beslag op je agenda dan wie ook. Blijft er bovendien nog ruim voldoende tijd over om een onbekende of miskende auto te kopen.

The Toyota Classic was a limited production car build in 1996. It was styled after the Toyota AA from the 1930s. The body of the Classic was build on a fifth generation Hilux chassis with a 2-litre petrol engine producing 96 hp. A total of 100 Toyota Classics were build.

A Toyota Century is a rare sight in Europe, but a left hand drive one is even more special. Only around 100 examples were made for export to the US, to China and to Europe. This example was made especially for the Japanese Embassy in France.

You’re looking at a 1997 Toyota Century, the first year for the second generation, which has a very special - and very quiet - 5.0 litre V12 engine. Whilst the driver’s seat is very nice, it’s the right rear seat you really want to be in. It even has a massaging function.

The second generation Toyota Century was made from 1997 until 2017 and in total 9.573 examples of the flagship model were built.

1965 Toyota Sports 800

With only 3131 cars build the S800 is a rare little sports car, but this one is even more rare. This car is one of 300 left hand drive ones. The left hand drive models where primarily build for the Okinawa markt. At that time Okinawa was occupied by the Americans and there for drove on the right side of the road. A small number of left hand drive models where send to America to be tested, but after all the US dealerships decided the S800 would not sell in America. So the decision was made not to import or sell the cars on the US market.

EMWalhalla 2023 @ Louwman’s Toyota World

Ook voor de 2023-editie van het EMWalhalla vormde Louwman’s Toyota World het toneel. Vandaag kwamen enkele honderden autoliefhebbers met hun bijzondere, opvallende, excentrieke, verguisde, zeldzame of geliefde automobiel naar de beroemde koepel in Raamsdonksveer voor het samenzijn van de leden van autoclub Elk Merk Waardig. Hoe uiteenlopend de meegenomen auto’s ook zijn, de bezitters kennen een gemeenschappelijke deler en dat is hun uitzinnige liefde voor hun auto. Maar onder de warme voorjaarszon in de voortuin van Louwman’s Toyota World toonden zij ook interesse in de passie van de andere aanwezigen, wat resulteerde in een gezellige sfeer en warme ambiance. Een beperkt overzicht van de geweldige en sfeervolle dag. Uiteraard konden de bezoekers ook een bezoek brengen aan de unieke collectie van Louwman’s Toyota World, waar nu 100 Jaar Louwman centraal staat.

One of the kings of rally, Carlos Sainz. His first world championship title with Toyota in 1990 and preparing to give the Spanish driver more titles Toyota in the World Rally Championship launched the Celica Turbo 4WD Carlos Sainz Edition. Only 5,000 units were made. The street legal special edition had compared to the Celica Turbo 4WD more power (208 hp, thanks to a water-cooled intercooler, an additional oil cooler and modified cooling of the camshaft drive belt), modified suspension. The Carlos Sainz Edition was launched in 1991 and served as a limited homologation model for the 1992 rally car.

The box says Auris, but the scale model is the current generation Toyota Corolla. Toyota changed the name of the productline after the scale model was manufactured. It’s a bird? It’s a plane? No, it’s the Lexus LC 500h being lifted to the rooftop lounge of the Hilton Hotel in Amsterdam. In 2017 the new LC 500h was presented at the event in the Sky Lounge of the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Amsterdam.

The LC 500h in the Louwman’s Toyota World collection is the first car delivered to Europe. As a special feature it wears Chief Designer Tadio Mori’s signature on its door sills.
