As I wear couple of different hats, is another corner of , where you can find me, as headchef,besides .

🛎️Menu:
Green lentil carrot pepper soup (vegan, gluten-free)
🇹🇷 Babaganoush
Pesto tempeh 🥦 pasta (vegan, gluten and soy free)

📌 Pasta salad instructions :
1️⃣ Boil your pasta ❗gluten-free pasta takes 10 min max to be ready)
2️⃣ Marinate your tempeh and let it sit for couple of hours or overnight (see my previous post for the recipe)
3️⃣ Roast your tempeh Marinated cubes in heated oven for 200C, 20 min. ❗Medium-rack
4️⃣ Roast your veggies, 🥦 and red peppers (ramiro) 😉 200C,10 min max.
5️⃣ Coat your cooked pasta with pesto and include all, with some corn.

📌 Tip: add grated mozarella cheese and heat your pasta bowl in the oven, cheese melts and becomes more delicious.

Elevate your tempeh and how? 👇
✔️Blanch your tempeh block:
Steam your tempeh for 6 minutes, ❗blanching reduces the bitterness and softens it to soak more flavors.
📍Our marinate:
400 g tempeh (cubed)
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp rice vinegar
2 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp maple syrup
1 lemon zest
1 tsp fresh grated ginger (optional)

❗After blanching your tempeh, marinate it and put them in a sealed bag and keep in the fridge for couple of hours.
(min 1 hour)

☺️📣Tip: Roast some potatoes, haricot green beans and coat them with some sesame oil, cayenne and peeled garlic cloves.
Enjoy fried tempeh with this delicious mix of vegetables.

Recipe coming 🔜.
Our dinner was Menemen with some yoghurt tonight with some Moroccan bread.

✔️As we change our offerings on each breakfast event, this time from the poll of our regulars, and ☕ has been suggested.

😊We take it! 🔔
✔️Famous as a bachekor or student or mom that has nothing to make easier than this dish, but only Menemen with few eggs and fresh grated tomatoes, is the most favourite dish in Turkish Breakfast.

🔔Recipe Sharing - - Carrot Tarator - - Meze👇
📸 from our summer house table at my aunt's varenda, our classic meze summer nights. Longing for 🏡, that you eat around a long table, hearing some Turkish folks music, conversation, smell of Black Sea, clean, blue sky, and my family with some on the table,

📍 5-ingredient meze that you can enjoy throughout the year.

4 medium carrots (grated)

4-5 tbsp olive oil

1-2 cloves garlic (grated)

½ tsp salt

5 tbsp yogurt (creamy Turkish yogurt — süzme yoğurdu)

Heat the oil in a skillet until it sizzles a bit when you put in a piece of grated carrot.

Then reduce the heat a little, and mix the carrots in slowly. Sauté the grated carrots until they turn a bit darker, but are not quite completely cooked.

Add salt.

In a bowl combine yogurt with grated garlic, and stir well.

Add the warm sautéed carrots directly to the garlic yogurt, and mix thoroughly.

Let sit in the fridge overnight, or for at least 2-3 hours.

This meze can be enjoyed the next day, or even right away while still warm. Both ways are delicious. Letting it sit overnight will make the meze creamier and more subtle, the juice from the delicious carrots blending with the yogurt.

🛩️Seattle Travelling Diaries - Much fun to cook to friends in their new built enormous kitchen and dive into a together.
You are at ease with , her new cookbook, Sebze. We had 🇹🇷 dinner with our dearest friends Kurt and Heather and her son's family, Mason, Marley and Miles last Tuesday in .

🎁My gift to Kurt, who is a great cook in the house, was from .
Since our trip to Paris was outstandingly delicious with them, I cooked another version of from , I also added some roasted cherry tomatoes, some vinegar and some sugar additionally to the sauce, her delicious with erişte and from Mexico, similar peppers to Turkish , , family recipe, and köfte from my mom's recipe.
No luck finding the freshest 🍆 but Chinese aubergines worked as well. 🤗
Everyone had doubled their plates.

, Today orzo tangy cheesy pea with pumpkin palmkool cranberry beet salad, now I call Christmas salad. Orzo recipe inspired from and the salad, forgot to note but discovered when I was sitting at my brother and sister - in-law house in Sonoma. I took some photos of Estela's food magazines. This is one of them, but completely with different vegetables.
