Back from holidays, doors open again today from 10.00!
Happy to be surrounded by so much beauty again, be on the fields ( yesterday ) and then have it all slipping through my hands.

‘Als er één ervaring is die je opdoet in de mooie Rotterdamse winkel , dan is het wel dat natuurvriendelijk werken met bloemen esthetisch, modieus en eigentijds kan zijn. Voor eigenaresse Fien draait het om meer dan alleen werken in harmonie met de natuur; het gaat om het creëren van hedendaagse bloemstukken die toegankelijk zijn voor iedereen
Toen Fien ervoor koos om één dag per week haar computerscherm te verruilen voor het werken met haar handen en het maken van mooie dingen met bloemen, overwoog ze zelfs even om bloemen te gaan telen.
Uiteindelijk ontdekte ze dat haar ware talent ligt in het ontwerpen en samenstellen van kleuren en vormen, en het bedenken van creatieve concepten. Zo ontstond Kore, een bloemenwinkel in Rotterdam die natuurlijkvriendelijke seizoensbloemen in de aandacht zet en het ambacht van natuurvriendelijk bloemen telen wil promoten.

A little note to say thank you. First part of 2024 has been so beautiful at Kore.
We got to know a lot of new partners, it was really busy, we did the flowers for beautiful events, made people happy with their wedding flowers & hopefully gave some consolation during ceremonies of saying goodbye.
Now it’s time to take some rest. Feeling very lucky and thankful to all of you who puts their trust in Kore.

Visited last week again to pick some of the specials again! Peter of grows all of his particular species without pesticides and it’s such a lovely experience to just walk around in his little forest-like nursery 🌳
There are beauties here in store now - garden plants are filled up again for this weekend 🪴

Do you already know the Kenzan? A wonderful tool (with Japanese origin) for flower-arranging. It gives possibilities for very specific flower placing without using the polluting ‘oase’ floral foam.

December the fire was ON! We did quiet some nice things aside the store like decorating some lovely events, the workshops at , another christmasmarket ánd next to that, lots of you all came by at the store to get your loved ones (and yourself) the cutest gifts and oh so beautiful dried & fresh winterflorals.
Now looking back - wanting to say thank you to all of you ~ you know who you are ;)

Winterwende Vandaag is wat mij betreft een van de grootste feesten in deze periode, want: de kortste dag van het jaar ⚪️ en dan ook nog met deze beauty van licht en zon. Vanaf morgen gaan we weer richting langere dagen en meer licht. Vroeger werd dit gevierd met kransen; de zon komt weer terug 🟡 en de oneindigheid van de seizoenen en cycli ♾ Kom morgen langs voor o.a. kransen, maar ook veeel ander moois als kadootjes of om het thuis mooi te maken voor de feestdagen. Donderdag gaat de @rotterdamseoogst op het Noordplein door 💪🏻 alwaar we ook met al onze beauties present zijn!
Matching pink sneak peek voor de droogbloemenfase die we ingaan. Morgen al droogboeketjes bij Botanical Market van @oaserotterdam aan de Schiehaven 15. En vanaf volgende week de winkel vol met droogbloemetjes. Maar, wil je nog even knallen met de verse bloemen van dit jaar…. Het aller aller laatste weekend met verse bloemen in de winkel! Er staat heel veel moois to go op jullie te wachten hier, dus kom langs kom langs! 🌸💨💨💨💨💨💨💨💨
Het is dan nu echt zo ver! De laatste week met verse bloemen is aangebroken - en die is een beetje anders dan normaal (lees er hieronder meer over..) Ik kijk al enorm uit naar alle prachtige droogbloemen, takken & grassen die volgende week de winkel zullen vullen.. Maar, eerst nog deze week, waarbij ik stil wil staan en dankbaar ben voor alle oogst van deze zomer. Wat was er veel moois! Omdat de stop van het verse seizoen (ondanks dat ik weet dat het gaat komen) toch best plots eindigt, doe ik het deze week best even heel anders: De verwachting was nog een hele week volop bloemen te hebben…Doordat het veel regent en de natuur niet meegaat in ‘planningen’ kreeg ik gisteren bericht van de telers dat er een stuk minder bloemen zijn dan ik dacht. Ik kan de winkel er helaas niet helemaal mee vullen… Wat nu? Omdat ik de laatste vers-week toch vól met verse bloemen en feestelijk wil afsluiten heb ik besloten deze week het assortiment aan te vullen met niet-bio-bloemen. Ik koop deze week dus extra gangbare bloemen in - ik kies dan wel alléén bloemen uit Nederland en seizoensgebonden soorten. Voor de mensen die er meer over willen weten vertel ik er in de winkel graag meer over en kun je hier uiteraard kiezen voor een boeket waar enkel bio-bloemen in zitten, zonder gangbare bloemen. Vanaf volgende week zullen er weer bio-bloemen in de winkel staan; alleen dan gedroogd. 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸 Kom nog gauw langs deze week voor de laatste verse bloemen van dit jaar! 🍂

Dank voor jullie support afgelopen week! Hopelijk hebben alle bloemen en planten mooie nieuwe plekjes gevonden of hebben jullie er anderen blij mee gemaakt 🌸💗 🌞De zon schijnt eindelijk weer goed! Zorg daarom wel extra goed voor je bloemen: 1. Zet ze op een koel plekje in huis, niet in de zon. En liefst niet naast je fruitschaal.. daarvan gaan bloemen sneller om. 2. Bloemen houden niet van viezigheid: zet ze in een écht schone vaas met schoon koud water. (Zou je er ook uit drinken?) 3. Snijd de bloemen schuin af, en liefst om de dag weer een extra stuk korter schuin afsnijden. Zo kan de bloem beter blijven ‘drinken’. 4. Ververs het water elke, of om de dag. Water eruit, vaas omspoelen, nieuw vers koud water erin; en bloemen erin! 🌞🌻 geniet van de zomerse weelde!
