Our next band to perform on the Schoonebeek Deathfest stage are the Belgian death-thrashers Schizophrenia!

These lads are seriously conquering Europe as we speak. With their furious style and energy, we are more than stoked to see them destroy our stage as well.

Our next band that will be thrashing up our stage, might be nothing for your mum...

We can proudly announce that Holy Moses will be playing at our 5th anniversary edition of Schoonebeek Deathfest!

The band has a long going history that lasts for over 42 years. And always had a huge impact within the German, but also the European speed/thrash metal scene.

Sabina/Holy Moses now decided that this will be her/their final year, so we want to give her and her band a fantastic farewell.

And wouldn't it be great if we all Finished with her dogs....

Hertog Jan will be available from the "prethaak" as well as some special flavors.

We will start a special token pre-order soon, so you all can be sure you get the best beers for the best prices.

How are you all doing? Started the new year well? We did, and we are working our asses off to gather another fine heavy line up for our next edition...

We have announced 4 blasting names already with Altar, Just Before Dawn, Scalpture and Deadspeak and new band announcements are coming soon!

With the holidays in sight and everything finally coming to an end in 2022, we are more than proud to announce the next act for our 5th anniversary edition of Schoonebeek Deathfest 2023.

Waltzing, pummeling and destroying everything on their path with thundering engines and heavy growling artillery. We bring you the Swedish death brigade "Just Before Dawn"..

Together with their Dutch alliances they'll be wrecking your necks and bang that head that doesn't bang! They'll bring us bombs over Deathfest 2023...

How do you like it so far? And keep in mind, still 5 more bands to come...

With that being said, this is also the start of our ticket sales. We do not offer any kind of wacky turds, birds or funny things. We are selling normal tickets only.

Due to all these absurd inflationary increasings, we unfortunately had to increase our prices as well. So that we can be sure that we are able to handle all those upcoming costs for the 2023 edition.

Tickets cost €45, and for that you'll get to see 9 bands and experience the best, old school festival atmosphere ever.

We thank you for your understandings and hope to see you all there!

So, finally Friday... and man are we jumping of joy!

We are more than proud that we can announce the first 3 names for our upcoming anniversary edition of Schoonebeek Deathfest '23.

First band: Deadspeak,
a great talented and serious devoted power trio from the northern parts of the Netherlands. These lads have gathered lots of positive feedback and gaining more and more respect within the Dutch death metal scene.
With their debut album coming up in 2023, it is now time to conquer more of Europe. These three young dogs, will bring us an intense mixture of old school death/thrash and technical death metal.

For those that appreciate bands as Blood Incantation, Malevolent Creation and Morbid Angel.

Second band: Scalpture,
a five-member outfit hailing from the surroundings of Bielefeld, Germany. These Germans bring us a massive tribute to a sound very reminiscent of Bolt Thrower yet carrying salient elements of Asphyx as well.
With their latest release "Feldwärts" this quintet have paved their paths with a strong combination of the British and Dutch sound of Death Metal that will devestate you.

If you still do not know this band, you should start with their latest album and work your way backwards!

Third band: Altar, and damn are we proud to have them (the original line-up) attending our anniversary edition Godverredommeeee!

After their great comeback a few years ago, and playing a couple of intense, aggressive live shows. These gentlemen unfortunately had to put things to rest for several different reasons.
Now that the world is wandering into its end days, they've decided to resurrect once again! And while doing so, they start their "Final Crusade Against False Prophets" with this exclusive Netherlands gig!.

Come and get your eardrums blown, your faceskin pierced with furious spit and enjoy the sounds of this massive Dutch death metal machine, you'd better try to survive this onslaught.

We like to invite you all in, and celebrate the 5th anniversary with our death metal family.

Unfortunately we have to bring you sad news and we mourn the death of Andy Kaina, Messiahs singer for the last few decades.

We've enjoyed his appearance at our latest edition of Schoonebeek Deathfest and damn what an appearance that was.

R.I.P. Andy. You will be missed.

After a long period of silence, we are thrilled to announce our resurrection. Some things have happened, some things have changed but most important, we are alive and kicking...

We are working our asses off, to give our visitors and ongoing supporters the best line up and festival experience for this 5th anniversary edition!

We will announce 9 bands, 30 minutes of rest in between, good beers and the best atmosphere we can offer!

We had to send about 10 emails and reminders to our ticketprovider about sending us data for the refund information.

After we got angry, they suddenly could solve the problem for us. 🖕🖕

But finally, they sent us the information that we needed for the refunds for Schoonebeek Deathfest 2022. Refunds are going to be arranged with our bank latest on Sept. 3rd.

Of course, we had to cover some costs even though SDF got postponed. S**t happens 🤷‍♂️ So if you want to donate your refund, please send us a mail ([email protected]) and we will skip you from the list. Thanks in advance!

Due to the competition (UK Deathfest, Killtown) during that weekend, it turns out to be impossible for us to offer you the qualitative lineup that you are used to from us.

We will be back in 2023 and we'll soon come up with an arrangement for the tickets already purchased for the 2022 edition.

We received the extremely sad news that Pim Voormeulen passed away yesterday, after losing the battle with his inner demons.

Pim was a regular SDF visitor and a well known guy in the metal community.

Our deepest condolences go out to his friends and family.

Rest in peace.

Don't open paypal claims/issues because you don't understand the word "pre-order" please. That is a waste of our and of your own time. We will ship them out as soon as they arrive, just like we always do.
