CHRISTMAS WEDDING VIBE 🎄🌟

It’s dark, romantic, and candles and lights can do their work perfectly. Christmas adds even more warmth and coziness, plus the joy of being together with family. So it’s actually the perfect moment for your wedding.

Now, Christmas is different for everyone. And maybe you immediately have a certain image in your head of what Christmas looks like. Yet you can bring the same theme to life in so many different ways. Which one do you like the most?

KEEP YOUR COOL AND YOUR FEET WARM♨️

Sometimes everything seems so perfect in wedding pictures especially on Social Media, but in the end we’re all just human beings. During preparations, as a bride you’ll be sitting still for 2 hours for your hair and makeup. And then you might start feeling quite cold. Add some nerves to that mix and before you know it, you’re sitting completely tense in that makeup chair.

So just put on some warm, cozy socks and some easy slippers. It might look a little less charming, but at least you’ll feel comfortable. 😉 Just make sure the socks don’t leave marks on your legs. It often takes a long time for those marks to disappear. That’s why loose, thick slouch socks are ideal. ❤️

YOU DON’T HAVE TO… 🫨

Everyone has their own ideas about what MUST be done at a wedding. How it’s supposed to be. But actually, you don’t have to do anything…well, that’s not entirely true…if you’re getting legally married, the officiant has to ask certain things and it’s desirable that you both say “yes”.😉 But even that isn’t necessary if you’re only having a ceremonial wedding.

It might be difficult because you have certain ideas about it, as does your fiancé, and maybe also your family and friends. A wedding has certain fixed elements, right?! Traditionally, yes, but that’s not necessary at all.

You don’t have to prepare separately, you don’t need to have a first look, you don’t have to be given away, your guests don’t have to sit in rows, you don’t need to have a reception, you don’t need to toast with champagne, you don’t have to throw your bouquet. The only thing you must do (but actually may) is to do it the way you want.

This is Wettina, also known as Tinus from@tinusmaakthetmooi. I love working with Tinus. Somehow, she understands my sometimes vague ideas very well with just a few words. I usually make a description of a concept with a mood board attached. And then she gets to work. When she shows me what she's working on it's always spot on right away and often even more beautiful than I could have imagined.💕 Really bizarre and fun at the same time. 😉

Besides being very good at her work, she's also super nice and down to earth. In the sometimes chaotic preparation, she works calmly and steadily. Really someone you can rely on. ❤️

WEDDING PLANNER IN ACTION🙃
Actually, I should say: master of ceremonies or wedding coördinator in action. My work consists of various components, and being a master of ceremonies is just one of them. Before the wedding even takes place, I spend a lot of time with and for the couple. We start with the design of the wedding. I see this not only as something aesthetic, but also the program, communication, and atmosphere are important parts of the design. Once the basic design is complete, I get to work bringing the design to life. I find the right wedding suppliers and together we bring it all together through good coördination and a clear script. ❤️

LEATHER WEDDING 🥰

Look at this fantastic, beautiful, and loving couple—married for three years now. I had the honor of helping them with the organization and on the day itself. I have special memories of them and their wedding. They had so much faith in me, and they are so open, generous, and sometimes a little bit crazy. 😉 It was an incredibly fun and special time, despite the COVID rollercoaster.

Vandaag is deel 2 van seizoen 3 gelanceerd van Bridgerton en ik kan allemaal maar zeggen...Wauw!! Echt om te smullen. En wat kan je veel inspiratie halen uit deze geweldige serie. De kleding, de sieraden, hun kapsels, de bloemen...alles klopt tot in detail en is lekker overdadig.

PIECE OF ART🎨

Een styled shoot is een uitgelezen kans om je creativiteit te laten vloeien en je visie te laten zien. Daarom wil ik een styled shoot organiseren met als thema Piece of Art!

Ik heb het concept uitgedacht, maar zoek nog naar enthousiaste trouwleveranciers die hieraan mee willen werken op TFP basis (locatie, fotograaf, videograaf, stylist/bloemist etc.). Het doel is om beeldmateriaal te generen die je kan gebruiken voor bijvoorbeeld social media en het genereren van exposure.

Ook zoek ik een stelletje die het leuk vindt om model te staan. Er staat geen vergoeding tegenover, maar het is een heel leuke ervaring en erg gezellig. Natuurlijk ontvang je ook de foto's/video's die van jullie gemaakt worden.

Als het lukt wil ik de shoot nog vóór het volgende trouwseizoen begint uitvoeren. 🤞

Wil je graag meedoen of ken je iemand die kan bijdragen aan deze shoot, laat het me dan zsm weten. Ik hoop zoals bij een eerdere shoot weer een leuk team te kunnen samenstellen. ❤️

BEDANKJE! 🙏

Dit stel heb ik geholpen met hun bruiloftsconcept. Ze hadden echt moeite met bepalen wat ze nou precies wilden en de brainstorm die we hebben gedaan heeft ze echt onwijs geholpen. Mijn suggestie voor een locatie die erbij paste was ook spijker op de kop. Helaas was er geen ruimte om ze volledig te ondersteunen, maar ze hebben hun dag met het concept in de hand helemaal zelf geregeld. Hoe fijn is dat!?!

En als bedankje kreeg ik een heerlijk borrelpakket, want ja...borrelen ben ik inderdaad gek op. Dat was dus ook spijker op de kop. Een gelukig bruidspaar en lekker borrelen. Wat wil je nog meer? 🫶
