Time to shed some light onto the mystery but especially the confusion around my DJ name.
Yes, it is an artist name and not to be confused with the one my parents gave me when I was born. The latter is a Swedish name, inspired by the TV series of Pippi Långstrump, and that’s about that.
Anica is derived from the Pali term >aniccaanicca< also bears the power of transformation.
When we are on the dancefloor, we become movement ourselves, and change. We are open for the music to change the way we move our body, and to change the way we feel. Transforming from one moment to the next.
As a dancer (and obviously a human being), I have experienced the phenomenon of >anicca< many times. And as a DJ, I wish for the dancer to come close(r) to experience and embrace that phenomenon as well. I wish for you to be open to the experience: the experience of finding pleasure in moving your body, of my music touching you and moving your emotional world, and of embracing the overall transformation that happens to the dancefloor during the dance.

Voilá, those are the intentions I tried to weave into my artist name :)
