Although grew up in Den Haag, she now lives in Glasgow, where she studies as a marine biologist and analyses the consequences of climate change on life in the deep oceans. Ashlynn chooses submerged textures and ethereal atmospheres, creating a sonic apnea capable of holding one’s breath in time. Through “in Passing tides” she connects with other artists of the aquatic world, exploring sound waves under an organic lens.
