Opening band: Shinri Tee

Shinri startte haar muzikale loopbaan in het London rond 2000, waar ze spelend langs de “Central Line” gespot werd en een plek kreeg in een pakhuis in Hackney Wick. Het pakhuis werd een grote speeltuin voor muzikanten waarvan meerdere op het punt van doorbreken hebben gestaan. In 2019 is ze afgestudeerd als sound engineer.
Shinri’s filosofie: "The Universe will act in favour of Free Will and work for us if we Resist Tyranny…"
Ze begeleidt haarzelf op semi-akoestische gitaar, heeft een ongeëvenaard stembereik, zingt met bezielde overtuiging in Engels en Frans. Je kunt haar stijl omschrijven als Singer-songwriter met een full dose of SOUL, waar in haar Nigeriaanse roots onmiskenbaar doorklinken.

A few well known acquaintances in the Utrecht jam scene who like to experiment with sounds will open this evening the jam session with some free jazz and funky sound. The music will brought to you by Jose on drums, Willem on bass, Martijn on guitar, Buck on keys and Arturo on sax.
Later on you can come up on stage and play along!

in his graduationwork kai Huibers researches the sound of glass. come listen to country-folk music with Gijs Ravensbergen on banjo guitar, Arie Rinsema on stained glass washboard, Inge McGee on vocals and Kai Huibers on banjo bass and vocals.

In zijn afstudeerwerk onderzoekt Kai Huibers het geluid van glas. Luister naar glasheldere country-folk muziek van Gijs Ravensbergen op banjo gitaar, Arie Rinsema op het glas in lood wasbord, Inge McGee op zang en Kai Huibers op banjo bas en zang.

Dinsdag 5 maart openen The Getdowns de jamsessie. Wees op tijd want we starten om 20.30. De bar gaat om 20.00 open. Entree is gratis!

Met een explosieve mix van ruige vocalen, schreeuwende gitaren en een overvloed aan energie, creëert de hardrock band 'The Getdowns' een extatische golf van geluid. De jongens gebruiken in hun muziek een wilde mix van genres, als grunge, punk, classic rock en zelfs jazz en ska in sommige van hun nummers, waardoor hun muziek een uniek geluid krijgt. Geïnspireerd door legendarische grootheden als The Beatles en Pearl Jam, vormt hun muziek met een mix van nostalgische rockvibes en een moderne flair een geluid dat zelden nog te horen is in de hedendaagse muziekscène.
