Hé kabinet, de voorgenomen btw-verhoging op cultuur, sport, media, boeken, evenementen en horeca treft ons allemaal. Wij moeten straks meer betalen voor (school)boeken, de sportclub, festival- concert- en evenemententickets. De krant, de horeca, cultuur, alles wordt duurder. Stop de voorgenomen btw-verhoging, het raakt miljoenen Nederlanders in hun vrije tijd en welzijn.

Two weeks ago HWM TV & Events had the honor of facilitating part of the christening of the Amadeus Nova in Amsterdam for Lüftner Cruises. The Amadeus Nova was built with sustainability in mind. With her hybrid engines, solar panels, and cutting-edge energy conservation, she meets all the environmental protection standards and is an example for the cruise industry.
Many thanks to Lüftner Cruises for the assignment and smooth collaboration, and to Cruise Port Amsterdam for the introduction.

Beste collega's van Heuvelman Sound & Vision B.V. gecondoleerd met dit grote verlies. Wij hebben jarenlang met veel plezier met Peter mogen werken, en zijn zeer geschokt door dit droevige nieuws.
Heel veel sterkte met het grote verlies van een zeer gewaardeerd collega. Wij gaan Peter enorm missen😔

Met groot verdriet maken wij het nieuws bekend dat Peter van der Pol, productiemanager bij Heuvelman Sound & Vision, zaterdag 8 juni onverwachts is overleden.

Peter was een inspirerende collega en persoonlijkheid, die altijd het beste voor had met iedereen. Zijn overlijden is een groot verlies voor ons allemaal.

We zullen Peter missen als collega, vriend, maar vooral als een mooi uniek persoon.

Zijn verlies wordt diep gevoeld door ons allen, en we betuigen onze oprechte deelneming aan zijn familie en vrienden tijdens deze moeilijke tijd. We wensen hen veel sterkte en kracht toe bij het verwerken van hun verdriet.

With great sadness, we announce that Peter van der Pol, production manager at Heuvelman Sound & Vision, unexpectedly passed away on Saturday, June 8th.

Peter was an inspiring colleague and personality who always had the best interests of everyone. His passing is a significant loss for all of us.

We will miss Peter as a colleague, friend, but most importantly, as a beautiful and unique individual.

His loss is profoundly felt by all of us, and we extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends during this difficult time. We wish them strength and courage processing their sorrow.

In March 2024 HWM TV & Events had the honor of facilitating the Platinum Dinner in Lyon for Viking Cruises. The Location was an old Boiler works on the quay in Lyon. We transformed this into a classic French Bistro setting with Ratatouille as theme.

This event was 12 years after our first event for Viking Cruises in March 2012. We facilitated the simultaneous naming of 6 Viking longships 4 at the Cruise Port Amsterdam and 2 at the Neptun Dock Rostock.

Over the past 12 years we have collaborated with Viking Cruises throughout Europe. With great events in the beautiful cities of Paris, Avignon, Basel, Zurich, Koblenz, Bremerhaven, Cochem and Porto.

The most memorable event would be the world record setting performance in 2013. With an official listing in the Guinness World RecordsWorld Book of Records. This was achieved in different ports throughout Europe, all with satellite connections to record and stream the whole event.

HWM TV & Events would like to thank all the involved parties, and a special thanks to Viking Cruises for the assignments.

We have been organizing this event for years and the result is astonishing every time.

Last weekend HWM TV & Events together with Ids Stagework supplied material and staff for the building of an outdoor light corridor for the Fjoertoer 2023 in Bergen. This is an outdoor walking event with four different distances and approximately 16.000 participants. The weather wasn’t at its best but the turnup was impressive! The participants walk by a variety of Light, Fire and Sound installations from one village to the next.

It was great to be part of this unique event.

Last month the MSC Euribia (MSC Cruises) had her maiden voyage and called at the Cruise Port Amsterdam. She was on her way to the Copenhagen Malmö Port for her Naming. Schaap-ps and HWM TV & Events had the honor of being partially responsible for the branding at both ports.

It was a true honor to be part of the naming of this ship. Her maiden voyage was a net-zero sustainability showcase, she was fueled by 400 tons of bio-liquified nature gas. We feel she sets a great example for the shipping industry, and we hope many more of these sustainable ships will follow.

Overview:
In this role, you will be
responsible for managing our audio-visual-light equipment/warehouse and office
to support of our teams whilst they are providing exceptional
audio-visual-light services for our international based clients. You will be
asked to utilize your technical knowledge, s and always maintain a positive
attitude while working with internal and external clients. The key language
will be Dutch, English language is required.

Key Responsibility
· Prep and De-Prep
Event orders by our Standard Operating Procedures
· Ensure storage and
maintenance of AVL equipment/warehouse by guidelines and regulations
· Transport and
supporting drop off, set up and dismantle AVL equipment in various venues
· Ensure
service/repair/maintenance of equipment is conducted internally or arrange for
repairs to be conducted externally as required.
· Utilize the
Warehouse Management System like barcode to process the orders efficiently and
ensure that all the required paperwork is generated/filed.
· Plan/organize the
work in the office to improve productivity and increase efficiency.
· Maintain stock
levels for all consumables and order as required.
· Conduct equipment
inventory of all equipment in the warehouse

Job Offer: Light designer / Light technician.
We are situated in Weesp, close to Amsterdam. This is where our office and warehouse are located. We are a national and international operating company in the AVL sector. We work for a wide variety of clients for events, congresses, and TV programmes, so you will be joining a great crew with a broad expertise in all segments of our AVL market.
The position:
· Being able to independently execute lighting designs and technical drawings for events and TV programs.
• · Being able to give advice to clients about the visual interpretation of their event.
• · Preparing logistics plans (weight and routes).
· Being able to make weight calculations for the benefit of rigging (hanging AVL materials).

• · Be a discussion partner for the management regarding investments.
• · Guiding and advising the technicians regarding the use of the warehouse and keeping it in order.
What we ask of you:

• · Experience in drawing lightplans in Vector works.
• · 3-year advanced education, with demonstrable work experience within a light-
technical environment in which knowledge of specifications or experience in the field of electrical engineering and rigging has been gained.
· Several years of work experience; where knowledge of LED lighting, moving heads and light management systems are an advantage.
· Have experience with and being able to work with the following control systems:
• · GrandMA2 & 3.
• · ONYX control equipment and software (the Passenger Terminal Amsterdam is our main location, and their home installation is controlled with ONYX).
• · A proactive attitude, eager to learn and able to make clear assessments.
• · Knowledge of MS office, (AutoCAD, Rentman, production assist, Barcell are pre).
• · Prepared to follow training courses in the field of lighting design and techniques.
• · A real team player with communicational skills.
• · Decent knowledge of the English language, spoken and written. This to
communicate with the creative directors.
