In 2005, I achieved significant milestone, by becoming the first Norwegian chef to work for the legendary Roux family at the Waterside Inn. With over 38 years of maintaining a 3 Michelin star rating, the Roux family is one of the most influential, dynamic, and charismatic families in the culinary industry. During my 1 year there, Michel and Alain were the best mentors I could have wished for ,as I learned about the importance of quality ingredients, passion, perfection, and teamwork.
It was with great sadness to learn of Michel Roux’s passing in March.
I did not only want to make another culinary evening, but embrace Michel Roux`s joy of life , and channel the unsurpassed passion for food into creating a unique personal evening, capturing the true essence of the legend, trought my love for French cooking.
In honor of this great Master, I with the DRM of Norway team will be hosting a special and exclusive evening featuring many of his classic dishes.
