Nepal about 2500 years ago. is the regional centre of the World Fellowship of Buddhist Youth since 1978. To formulate various activities in order to give broad coverage for all-round development of this Association, Y.M.B.A. has established YMBA Club 25 Nepal with the vision “Buddhism for Youth, Youth for Buddhism”. YMBA CLUB 25 is the team of enthusiastic Buddhist youths of Nepal between 16 to 25 years of age. It was formed on 19th December 2006 by YMBA Nepal under the direction of WFBY (World Fellowship of Buddhist Youth) HQ situated in Thailand. The formation of the first executive committee of Club 25 was coordinated by Former President of YMBA Mr. The first ever training program for YMBA Club 25 members was coordinated by Former Treasurer Mr. Puspa Ratna Barahi. The recognition of YMBA CLUB 25 was guaranteed when it was launched internationally on 27th March, 2007 on the auspicious occasion of 4th International Buddhist Youth Exchange and Forum (Kathmandu/Lumbini). The Executive Committee of YMBA CLUB 25 consists of 12 members having President, Immediate Past President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Joint Secretary and Joint Treasurer and rest are the executive members. The committee will be formed every year. Currently there are more than 200 members in YMBA CLUB 25. It has been conducting the general meeting every Friday. It is providing voluntary assistance in every activities of YMBA.
