The Akitio Community Centre is an amazing location for any and all forms of entertainment. Great for School trips with plenty of interesting activities nearby.

Located across from the beach, the Centre has hosted birthdays, wedding functions, been used by large family groups during the holidays, and many general get-togethers. The building is licensed for 150 people, and there are 48 bunk beds in four dormitories. A large balcony overlooks the beach, a tennis court and playground. There is a large kitchen and bar area with plentiful fridge space and a la

rge BBQ. Large toilets with a separate handicap shower facility. Akitio has a local store and takeaways. The Akitio Community Centre is an amazing way to bring the whole family to the beautiful beach and countryside. For any queries about bookings please call Linda 06 374 3868

As of December 2021 the Akitio Community Hall will be operating as a Vaccine Pass Venue Only
Entry to the Hall is by Covid Pass only, visitors are excluded. No COVID PASS NO STAY.
We have a commitment to the local community to keep as safe as we can.
Covid Passes will need to be emailed prior to intended stay.

Details on this will be provided by the custodian on booking and for those already booked you will be contacted. Your stay at the hall will indicate you fully understand and will comply with this Government directive.
If this is not adhered to in any way it will risk the immediate closure of the Hall

We are pleased to say that our new Daikin hi- Wall Cooling and Heating system has been installed into our four seperate dormitories on the first floor of the Community Hall.
Funding was achieved by a grant from the Mainland foundation and our Community Stock drive.
Many thanks to all who made this happen 👏
We now have temperature controlled bedrooms to make your stay even more comfortable!!!!
