Once again The Nelson Santa Parade Trust wants to give back to our community this Christmas.

This year we would love it if you would bring a Can or Non-Perishable food product to the parade and give it to members of the Whakatū Rotary who will be set up along the parade route collecting for the Nelson Community Foodbank.

There are so many people struggling right now and the simple gesture of a food parcel this Christmas goes a long way.

Don't worry if you forget your can, then the team from Rotary will also have an option for a cash donation to help the Food Bank in purchasing food for those families in need this Christmas.

OPEN FOR BUSINESS

We are excited to announce that we are back open for warehouse visits and styling appointments. The GK Events Hire Team has been working hard to get our storage area ready for couples and event organisers to come and take a look around.

We are now open by Appointment Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 am to 4 pm, at Appleby House & Rabbit Island Huts.

Our office is situated in the Rabbit Island Huts carpark, just follow the signs. We are also happy to show off the amazing venue where we are based and have some great deals for anyone who wants to book a Wedding or Event at Appleby House & Rabbit Island Huts.

The Team is excited to be able to welcome you into our new space and we cant wait to meet you!

We are so lucky in Nelson and Tasman to have the biggest selection of Outdoor Games for Wedding and Events.

Our games have all been handmade with the idea of being able to fit into any style of wedding or event to add a bit of fun to the event. One of the crowd favourites has to be the Colossal Connect 4, this game is one that will make or break friendships.

Here at GK Events Hire, we have a number of options for you to choose from to help keep the party going late into the night. One of these options is our Warm White Frosted Festoon Lights, these lights come in 10m lengths and are perfect for any venue in Nelson and Tasman.

Last Thursday Alex was invited to attend a Chef's Dinner at Harvest Kitchen.

It was a delicious meal hosted by Birgit, Brigitta, and Tony. Along with some amazing food it was paired with some delicious wine from Seifried Estate .

We look forward to continuing our relationship with the team at Harvest Kitchen in the future and if you are after a venue or a place for lunch then make sure you check them out.
