Yesterday I stepped outside my celebrant role to Emcee my first wedding and it was a vibe!
I’m so happy and honoured that I got to do this for two of our dearest friends and at their beautiful reception held at
Gorgeous couple, gorgeous day, gorgeous venue and the best party I’ve seen in a long time 🤍

I was humbled to lead the celebration of life service for my friend Caz’s beloved husband Russel last Saturday. She lost him unexpectedly, suddenly and far too young. While it seems strange to say I enjoy helping families pay tribute to their loved ones when they leave us, it’s something I feel immensely privileged to do and I definitely derive a strong sense of satisfaction from helping them through this difficult time and doing my best to help make it special and meaningful for them ❤️
Russel, you were clearly a special and dearly loved character and your service was full of love and laughter. Your choice of music to see you off was 100% unapologetically you and put a smile on faces through the tears. Rest in love 🤍🤍🤍

Yesterday we said our final goodbyes to my cousin Helen and I was honoured and humbled to hold space for the celebration of her life. Although it was deeply emotional to lead a service for a close family member, I was grateful for the opportunity to farewell this special lady with my family and her friends in a way that paid tribute to a life well lived, full of love but cut short too soon. Arohanui dear Helen. Rest in love ❤️
