I'm back from my hiatus! 🫶

It's been a big few months, I lost a big wedding to another massive florist, which shook my confidence and capability of being a florist myself. I've been processing this over the last few months and doubting whether this is something I want to continue to do BUT I love flowers and I love bringing my brides/grooms floral dreams to life so I'm here to stay ❤️

Also- I GOT ENGAGED last month to my amazing partner...now fiancé 💖 I'm very excited to start planning our very own wedding and enjoying being engaged to the love of my life!

I'll slowly start sharing photos over the next couple of weeks of my beautiful brides and their flowers 🌸🌟

PSA to all my supporters over the last 3 years- thank you ❤️
I started The Flower Bed in 2020 during the second lockdown. I brought home all the flowers that we were going to throw out at work, bundled them together to leave at my front gate for people to take for free, to bring a little colour and happiness to their homes during such a difficult time in our lives.
Fast forward 3 years later, and I have brought floral dreams to life for multiple weddings, birthdays and engagement parties plus more! I've loved every single minute of it, it's taught me so about myself and what I an capable of even through the trying times when I felt like giving up because I didn't think I was good enough.
Thank you to my friends and family for supporting my little floral hobby and thank you to my wonderful clients for trusting me to bring your floral dreams to life.
I look forward to bringing more floral dreams to life over 2024 and 2025, and will finish up with my final wedding in September 2025.

Celebrating M & S engagement party 27.01.24

Reds and pinks was never a colour combo I thought would work but I quickly thought better when I started arranging these beautiful arrangements for Morgan & Sam's tables.

I even had a helping hand from a wee Garden Orb Spider (I didn't use his dahlia, he was peacefully sleeping).

I put down the flower tools & picked up the cake tools to bring Morgans dream cake to life 💓
Gluten-free vanilla raspberry decorated with roses. I hand painted the tips of the petals using edible glue and edible gold glitter ✨️

It was an honour to attend your party and provide flowers & a cake ❤️💗

Thank you 2023 & to all my amazing brides, friends and family for your support this year! ✨️

I've gained some incredible flower friends, skills and knowledge this year. It was my biggest year yet for weddings and engagement parties.

2024 is kicking off with my best friend getting eloped in the beautiful Queenstown and then having a big reception here in Auckland... I'm so so excited! 🫶

The flower industry can be intense & and competitive, but I'm so grateful for the new friends I've made and the old friends I've reconnected with in this industry.

I've learned so much from these lovely ladies (plus more who aren't pictured).
I've only been in the industry for a couple of years, but the experience I have gained through my own trial and errors as well as catching up with fellow growers/florists that have turned into friendships has been incredible 🩷

Hands down the most fun wedding I have done... so much COLOR!!!!!

Everything from sunflowers, cosmos, zinnias, and dahlias to glamping tents- that's right- glamping tents!

I have 4 more weddings this year, on top of my 30th, and a big family trip to Australia...plus I'm studying something that goes hand in hand with florals but creates a closer relationship with my brides and hopefully make weddings as stress free as possible...watch this space 🫶
