Drinks outside amongst the olive trees was the plan but the weather had other ideas for Claire and Richie’s wedding. A forecast of rain meant it was a scramble to go with plan B - drinks under the veranda , bar florals to adapt . Adapt we did - the gorgeous fresh flowers provided a welcome to the guests as they headed in to reception before the torrential rain started . It was an amazing day working with a fantastic couple and the best way to finish the year .estate

I am sure everyone knows someone whose life has been impacted by the devastating news of a breast cancer diagnosis. It is a journey that is filled with emotional anxiety , extreme bravery and monumental strength and faith . We are inspired by these amazing people . Krystal and Brian’s wedding a few weeks ago was the last one for the summer . I have to say the season was full of challenges . The free fall of guest numbers due to covid restrictions , sky rocketing prices at the flower market , juggling dates from postponements , cancellations has made it the most stressful time for everyone involved . The one constant was my amazing couples who despite the changes put their total trust in me to let me do what was needed to create their special day . Sometimes it meant 10 guests with an amazing cake cutting backdrop or simple candle settings when guests numbers up but budgets didn’t . It is their loyalty which keeps me inspired when we are working the long hours . Thank you to all my couples , I love to receive your texts and photos after your wedding !! Also I couldn’t have got thru this season without the incredible team at Bracu and Castaways , the hardworking flower suppliers , my family and friends who have supported me with encouragement,babysitting, a helping hand , food and love ! Looking forward to meeting more incredible couples who are wildly in love ❤️Sardna .estate

Two weddings , two venues , one day! Easter weekend was an exercise in logistics running from one venue to another but worth it when I heard that the couples were overjoyed with everything . Soo happy to see my Jeep loaded and ready to go again . It has been at the mechanics since December getting a overhaul after countless trips back and forth to venues , road trips , school runs clocking up hundreds of thousands of kilometres . Thanks to the team@culys for getting it roadworthy as I have missed my trusty wheels! .estate
