And because every great family event should involve ice cream, Tip Top Ice Cream was onsite to make it even more special.

After delivering the caravan to site, Seb our Christchurch Warehouse Manager returned to enjoy the magic with his family.

Q. what do you get when you cross a camel with bad teeth, with a banana, and llama in a bubble bath?

A. a Brandspec training day!

And the outcome of that has been an astonishing change of mindset about what needs to change and who is responsible for it.

Our new mantra of "find what bugs you and fix it" has led to a myriad of Tiny Daily Improvements. The idea is that you find a mess/issue/problem, take a 'before' photograph and then fix it. The 'after' photo is printed out and is displayed in that location to become the new standard.

Who knew there was a desk under that lot Natalie? And if you are wondering, YES the Wild Turkey is part of her job.

And big ups to Bob who tackled the cleaning cupboard... the loo rolls officially have a home now and the cleaner no longer needs to fear an avalanche.

Photographing a flag... how hard can it be? Probably not that difficult inside but a tad trickier when there is a breeze and the flag does what it should and moves. Important though because we have five flags to send out and they are all different. Some, like this flag, have different messages each side. The photos and video wil be used in our Mobilisar system to help our clients choose the right item and our warehouse team, to pick and send the correct item.

Whew, it's been a busy month so we delayed our presentation of the July Employee of the month in favour of getting the orders out. Well done to Account Executive Natalie who received 6 nominations from the team, several of which were for going the extra mile to text or email important details to ensure that things ran smoothly while she was off sick and had no voice. She spun the wheel and will get to enjoy a paid afternoon off

Last week we showed you the Selleys Expo Stand and here's the behind-the-scenes footage... because if you're going to suspend 200KG of weights in a public place, you need to 100% sure that every component is reliable!

We knew from all the scientific data that the Selleys Liquid Nails was more than up to the job, but we still needed to test the chain, shackles and frame.

After a few set ups at different heights Ken, seen here sporting his trusty steel caps, was happy to sign the project off and good to go. SAFE AS HOUSES!

We imagined, designed and printed these awesome BrandSpec shipping containers, covered them with our branding messages, filled them with treats and delivered them to our deserving clients.
