This beautiful barefoot bride asked me to plan their surprise wedding. On the day, I played a pretend 'work colleague' at their baby's first birthday, only to reveal I was the celebrant! We stepped into the backyard, and with jaws dropping and squeals of excitement, suddenly we were at a wedding! It was such an honor to be part of this unique and meaningful moment.

A veeeeeery cute wedding ceremony in Murrayā€™s Bay. Beginning with words of wisdom from the grooms father, I then stepped in to make it all offical, followed by a private signing out doors. ...and suddenly now I can marry you?

I am an appointed celebrant whoā€™s excited to help you celebrate your wedding, support your family in celebrating the life of a lost loved one or create an affordable short form video for your event.

But, becoming a registered celebrant in New Zealand wasn't always on the cards!

In June of 2019 two gorgeous friends of mine asked me to be their celebrant over dinner. I laughed a little & thought, ā€˜that would be a nice idea, if only!ā€™, then carried on eating my meal. The bride-to-be stopped me in my tracks & leant in to the table, insisting ā€œOh no! Weā€™re not kiddingā€. They explained there truely was no one else theyā€™d even consider for the job. Feeling completely blown away was a total understatement. We talked logistics then I ā€˜responsiblyā€™ explained that Iā€™d ā€˜have to sleep on itā€™ - knowing full well I was already 100% in!

Sharing stories, collaborating the couples dreams & curating a ceremony fit for them was truely a one of a kind experience - an absolute pleasure. January 4th, 2020, I stood beside my two friends of mine & WE GOT MARRIED!
