Looking forward to getting back to on Sunday. I've given a few of these Sunday gigs away as my voice hasn't been in the best nick, but it's feeling strong and ready to go for this weekend.

Time to give it a decent road test!

Friends and family far and wide, I'd love to see any of you on Friday night (or Saturday) as we support I AM HOPE with our Mahi for Mental Health. Strangely enough it was my own experience with burnout that made me pivot away from my former career and into the world of weddings and music!

If you want to come and spend some time on the bike / rower or ski, get a bunch of friends together and:
-Download the white F45 Training App
-Create an account for Browns Bay
-Book into any of the 15 minute Mahi for Mental Health sessions on Friday 1st July (starting 5.15pm and finishing 8.15pm)

Info below - let's keep the momentum that I Am Hope are doing around the mental health of our young ones.

We are delighted to be joining our wider F45 NZ community in raising funds for mental health through the I Am Hope Foundation on July 1 & 2. This event will be open to all members, family, work colleagues and our wider Browns Bay and East Coast Bays community as we look to Bike, Ski and Row 605km and complete 3500 burpees.

This is significant as the 605km represents the number of people that took their own lives in NZ last year and the 3500 burpees represents the number of people that attempted to take their own lives.

We will be asking everyone that takes part in the event to make a donation that will go to the I Am Hope foundation to aid them in their ongoing support of mental health in NZ. This can be done via a cash donation on the day or via the I Am Hope Give a little page - https://givealittle.co.nz/fundraiser/mahi-for-mental-health-1 #

Our goal is to raise $100,000 over the weekend as an F45 collective.

Alex and myself will be matching the donations made through our studio across this weekend as well. So please, if you donate through the givealittle page, mention Browns Bay in the comments so that we can track our donations and then match the donations made.

All these event will be free to all and we encourage you to reach out to your networks to get involved. We will be setting up 15 minute slots that can be booked via the F45 App. As they will be set up as a free event, you do not need to be a member to book. So please get anyone you know that is keen to get involved to download the app and book their times in. You can also book as many 15 minutes slots as you would like to. Our classes on Saturday morning will run as normal but these are also open to non-members via booking in the app and a donation being made.

We will also have our very own JP on the decks (DJ) bringing some fresh tunes to keep you going while you play your part in this great cause.

Event Details:
Friday 1 July
5pm - Opening ceremony and Welcome
5.30pm to 8.30pm - Complete 605km on Bikes, Ski’s and Rowers

Saturday 2 July
7am to 8am - Hollywood Hybrid Class (free to all)

WHAT I DO ON MONDAY MORNINGS

After a look back at the fun from the weekend it's time to look forward to the three functions coming up this weekend.

Another wedding, and another stunning song requested for the bride to walk into. I honestly wouldn't blame her if she preferred to walk down to the Brooke Fraser original version, but this beautiful song is now in my repertoire for life.

Have a great week everyone.

Another weekend done and dusted.

A Friday night Tauranga awards function with some of the best Fully Stocked and then a stunning misty wedding Tui Hills, Auckland on Saturday.

One of my favourite aspects to helping a couple create their dream wedding is when I have a request to play a particular song during the ceremony. On Saturday, the beautiful bride wanted to walk down the aisle to "Your Song" played instrumentally - this was me on Thursday night after I had recorded the backing onto my loop pedal and was starting to get a feel for the melody. Excuse my messy living room 😂

Thanks to for holding the camera for me.

A special day at Allely Estate - capped off by a first dance like only Mr & Mrs Martens could pull off... Ditching the dance floor to saddle up on their instruments and crush a few songs for their guests!

Such a a fun, kind couple! An absolute privilege to be there ❤️🎶

CAPTION THIS!

Spent some of my isolation morning looking back at some of the weddings I managed to dodge covid for. What mischief do you think we were up to here?

Heading home... Reflecting on a stunning afternoon in the far north.

It was like doing a wedding in a screen saver. Northland, you beauty.

Well, at least when you're isolating you get to take a breath and look back at some memorable moments of the summer 😆

This year's weddings are full of couples navigating omicron, closed borders and red lights. Throw a drought-breaking deluge of rain into the mix and you'd be justified in thinking it just wasn't your day.

But nothing was stopping the Fletchers from enjoying an incredible day with family and friends.

Moving the ceremony indoors is no trouble for Markovina Vineyard Estate
- and complimented by the exquisite Izzy & Moe , Victoria Short - Hibiscus and Bays Local Board 's walk in was breathtaking.

Looking forward to catching you around the Bays Alan & Victoria - thanks for having me for your big day! 🙏

Great to catch up with Greg Campbell last weekend as he went about weaving his magic at Connemara Country Lodge. These sneak peaks look amazing!

Congratulations Tracey and Conrad on a stunning wedding day - may you and your girls enjoy many happy years together!

Now I like the Foo Fighters as much as the next guy (unless the next guy is .kelsey)... But it's like the Foos were written in the stars for this week. Not only did we get tickets to the Auckland show (note - I'm unavailable 17 December 🤙🤙) but this weekend's newlyweds want to walk into their reception to an acoustic version of "Everlong". Legends.

Looking forward to tag teaming the wedding with old mate, celebrant phenom (and covid free) - don't worry Lee, I'll polish this one up real nice. Look out wedding world. Could be a big one.

Another stunning afternoon for some tunes this arvo ❤️🎶🎶 see you next week Coasties! Thanks for the photo Cameron 🙏
