Kritesh and Ahranni’s wedding was nothing short of a fairy tale. 💕 With a last-minute change from the pavilion to the outdoor setting , it turned out to be the best decision ever. We designed a special table setting to enhance an aisle entrance into the grand reception, making it a focal point throughout the evening. The beautifully presented sweetheart table, garden-style themed setting, and lit chandeliers perfectly captured the essence of the estate.

Surrounded by the breathtaking coastal views of the West Coast, special day was nothing short of a fairy tale. It’s not everyday you get to witness a father serenade his daughter down the aisle with his bagpipes to marry her best friend 🤍

We had the honor of being a part of our wonderful clients’ big day, and what a journey it has been!The grand finale of our design process? The cake! For a spectacular wedding with 300 guests, we needed something extraordinary.

Behold the stunning 5-tier masterpiece, made by the talented Ella from Spill the Tea, set amidst our handmade floral meadow that left everyone in awe.

Designing cakes, especially within the enchanting garden meadow style, is our absolute favourite thing to do. This one, requiring an extra touch of love and care, was started just the day before the wedding, ensuring every detail was perfect!

Introducing “Mr & Mrs Edwards Intimate Wedding”

They say love is in the air, and it was certainly true for our lovely couple, Mr & Mrs Edwards, celebrated their special day amidst the enchanting beauty of Hamilton Gardens.

Under the warm, golden sun of a stunning spring day, the lovebirds exchanged their vows in an intimate garden ceremony that left us all breathless.

The gardens served as the perfect backdrop, with lush greenery and the additions of our vibrant flowers creating an atmosphere of pure romance.

But the magic didn’t stop there! The Edwards’ wedding transitioned into a fabulous summer house party that was nothing short of spectacular. With a picturesque setting, delicious food and the coolest cats in town, their celebration was an absolute blast, making it a day to remember.

What a day at the Bracu Wedding Open Day!
We’re still on cloud nine, and it’s all thanks to the incredible vendors who made it magical. 💫

First, a big shoutout to Ella from in Pokeno – her chocolate buttercream cake and custom wedding sugar cookies were pure artistry and utterly delicious! They went down a treat! 🍪

Our tablescape was a vision, thanks to the Sarah from – we love that your entire inventory list allows us to really capture every detail and this helps us to bring to our clients vision to life! 🌼✨

I’m so grateful to have met our now new friends Dan & Jo , this gorgeous couple made my day! The couple captured our styled elopement & floral setup courtside. Your lens has woven our story beautifully. 📷🌻

Hey everyone, it's Sarah Ewe here, the face behind Faux and Thorn, The Unruly Fleuriste! I have some incredible news to share!

Due to an incredible business opportunity that was to good to pass up, our good friend Samantha is passing the batten over to her team mate 👋

I am absolutely thrilled and honored to announce that 've been asked to represent the Young Florist & Flower Grower sector in this year's Young Horticulturalist of the Year competition!

Earlier this year, in Christchurch, I had the privilege of coming in second place in the competition, and now, I'm gearing up to showcase the passion, dedication, and creativity that's been nurtured at Faux and Thorn. 🌱

Auckland, get ready because in November, I'll be joining some of the brightest horticultural minds in the country, and I couldn't be more appreciative for this opportunity. 🙏

I spent the morning foraging through a neighbour’s garden when I spotted these beautiful vivid camellias. The bold hues captured my attention immediately and although I hadn’t planned on a vivid pallet, I knew that I’d find the perfect moment to showcase her pure beauty because every flower has a story to tell as do I.

It was an absolute honour to be selected to compete in Young Horticulturist of the year competition held in Christchurch. I will be forever grateful for this wonderful opportunity! I placed 2nd runner up overall & 1st in 2/6 projects which were Sustainability & Leadership. I’m so proud of this achievement!!

I’m even more proud of my new beautiful friend Sam, Grower & Owner of Nz biggest hydrangea farm Te Puna Blooms in Tauranga. Sam came 1st in Innovation design, speech & advanced computers skills to take out the 1st place to represent our beautiful florists & growers sector!
I can’t wait to come and support you up in Auckland for the Grand finals in November!!

I feel absolutely speechless typing this but also in absolute awe of your beauty. Every single element was carefully curated from hand built table risers for the head table elevation, textures, tones to the perfect brassware, right down to our very own ( Sweet Natalie ) Dahlias and so many other varieties that were grown specifically for the big day by our wonderful flower bestie and our wonderful wholesalers who provided us with the most beautiful blooms

I cannot express how much we loved our reception venue it was absolutely perfect for our guest list of 100! Perfect for that inside outside flow and a quite intimate space upstairs to sneak away and have a little rest period amongst all the fun.

We wanted an intimate family experience with delicious walk & fork style catering to suit our cocktail styled celebration.

We started with a beautiful fresh grazing table with a carefully curated selection of delicious food, followed by the most delicious karage chicken, pulled pork bao buns & in-house made herbed fries which our guests enjoyed all night!

Then we finished of with our delicious desert selection with my our all time favourite lemon meringue tarts, brownie which are usually served at the desert nights & our chocolate mud wedding cake made by my talented caker sister Inlaw & decorated by me.

There were two main vendors that literally brought my entire dream together and these beautiful ladies were at the top of my contact list.

I knew that I’d always wanted to book you in even before I got engaged.

I thought if the opportunity presented itself that I would make sure that my wedding day was booked based on your availability! I had absolutely no doubt in my mind that you would be there to glam me up on one of my most important celebrations of my life.

You were the first vendor I booked and it was one of the most important decisions I made! I’ve never felt so beautiful in my entire life, your presence and being was even more beautiful in person. Although your little girl was unwell you truly gave me an experience that I’ll never forget. I love how chill you are and made us all feel comfortable, your skills are absolutely beyond anyone else!
Our guests said we all looked incredible and that was down to your fine art💕

Natalie I don’t even know where to start gal, you brought my fairy tale to literal life and I can never thank you enough for how beautiful you made me feel. From the first time I stepped into your boutique 2 years ago I swear I knew it was meant to be! You knew exactly what I wanted and you elevated every part of my look and it was truly everything I could of ever imagined and just so much more.

Your bridal experience was truly one of the biggest highlights of my planning process and every time I put my gown on I felt like a Queen in a castle. I will forever be grateful for the fairy god mother experience I shared with you and maybe one day I’ll be back again with my own daughter 💕
