The way the sun twinkles on the water, and its golden glow when setting at the end of the day (check out that final shot!) - our drone was worth its weight in gold for this film! Gotta love our pretty Auckland city.

Annika and Marc wanted their wedding to be meaningful in every possible way - so they curated a celebration that was uniquely them. Gathering with their most closest people, in a favourite place, on their favourite coastline (check out that view!!) - they were joined into marriage as the sun set, before a windswept photoshoot down on the beach. After getting back, Annika changed into her second dress before we all shared the most delicious feast and danced the night away on the back deck under the stars. The speeches, the music, the sound of laughter drifting into the night sky - this will be a night they'll remember forever. And it was our pleasure to create their #cinematicheirloom x

JANE + RICHARD // St Luke's Catholic Church (Flatbush), Auckland
- a 'worth the wait' kind of love

Jane and Richard are the sweetest couple, the kind that makes you smile from ear to ear as you watch them together. They are kind, supportive, and full of warmth.
They started their special day by getting ready in separate rooms at the Mount Richmond Hotel. Apparently Richard was rather unsubtle about attempting to walk past Jane's room, hoping to catch a glimpse of her! And Jane also expressed how much she was really missing him... which led me to capture them both speaking 'sweet words' about one another before the day was even underway.
They were joined into marriage at St Luke's Catholic Church in Flatbush, with the beautiful voice of their friend Jonathan singing 'You are the Reason' as Jane walked down the aisle. Totally breathtaking.
Their reception was relaxed and happy, back at the Mount Richmond Hotel, where everyone enjoyed delicious food and kind words from family and friends - including a specially prepared video from Jane's loved ones in the Phillipines.
Jane's mom shared the "arithmetic of love." It is - "1 + 1 = everything, but 2 - 1 is nothing." A perfect way to end this beautiful couple's #WeddingFilm. No truer words.
