Repost RainbowYOUTH welcomes you to ‘Dress with Pride’, a time for you to ‘get ready with us’ for the annual Pride March. An array of makeup, wardrobe, kai, and sign/badge making activities will be provided. So bring your crew through to prepare for our march in unity! ✊🏽✊🏽✊🏽

Kia ora whanau. We wanted to take a moment to acknowledge these times we are in and also send heaps of Aroha to everyone out there. We want to acknowledge our beautiful painters/entertainers who have lost entire year’s income because of the circumstances, so will be following up with something on our social media account very soon. We want to acknowledge all the small, local businesses who made hard decisions and cancelled events and closed shops, losing thousands of dollars, not because they wanted to but because it was the right thing to do, before lockdown. It’s a hard time for everyone, and we here are taking the time to rest, recuperate and most importantly, reflect on how we can emerge as healthier, more compassionate and mindful people. Much Aroha. Kia kaha. P.S, anyone taking a walk around the Remuera Rd, Newmarket area, handmade Paddington is visible over the hedge directly across/opposite St Michael’s/ Beatrice Rd. Happy throwback Sunday! Catherine came up to me at a random party and said “Didn’t you used to teach me drama?”. She was just 5 years old then and as cute as a button. 6 years later, and I’ve become a Facepainter and she’s grown into a wonderful, confident girl. Pretty cool how life works sometimes 🍁🍃- Amanda
