Beautiful Ash and Will and their city ceremony at onslow.nz. I’m a sucker for an urban wedding since I had one 👌🏻 and these two wanted a simple yet classy day with their favourite people so they could continue their already full life together with their son Parker. So that’s what we did! Also how great is that signing spot?!

Gorgeous Bianca and Kenneth who eloped recently at the Boutique Barn with Amy Ryan Weddings, Morrae, and I. Kenneth surprised Bianca with a ukulele song before they shared their beautiful vows, and even a sprinkling of rain couldn't dampen our mood. Such fun!

How good is this cosy ceremony spot at Kumeu Valley Estate for a winter/spring/anytime of the year wedding? Elaine and Chris met when they were 5 and went through primary and high school together. They shared a cheeky kiss at a party when they were 17, and then went their separate ways for 30 years. After reconnecting at a school reunion, they decided to elope to the Boutique Barn while on a holiday around our beautiful country. They asked me to read a quote from Bob Marley that particularly resonated with them and their story. "Only once in your life, I truly believe, you find someone who can completely turn your world around. Memories of your childhood come back and are so clear and vivid, it’s like being young again. Colours seem brighter and more brilliant. Laughter seems part of daily life where before it was infrequent or didn’t exist at all."

The lovely Alyssa and Casey celebrated their 10 year wedding anniversary recently with a vow renewal at the Boutique Barn and all their favourite people came decked out in the dress code to support and celebrate. Gorgeous photos from Amy Ryan Weddings. Seriously inspired to celebrate every anniversary with a fancy do!
Some kinds words from them after the event: "The ceremony was the highlight of our day and the most meaningful part for Casey and I. It was so beautiful. Your words truly resonated with us and made the moment incredibly special. We felt seen, supported, and surrounded by love. We couldn’t have asked for a better celebrant."

This weekend I celebrated my 500th wedding! 🙀✨ 🥰 I flipping love that I get to marry people and feel so lucky every time I’m up close and personal (or off to the side crying like a proud mum) with lovely people making these big commitments. I don’t take it for granted, it’s a privilege and it’s so, so fun. Simply the best! And now I’ve carefully crafted this costume if anyone needs to be Moira Rose, it’s available to rent 🤣

How classy are these photos of Hannah and Michael by their photographer (and bookseller via Time Out Bookshop in Mt Eden) Jenna Todd?! Hotel Britomart was the perfect setting for their wedding and long lunch. I especially love the photo of their nanas signing the paperwork, and also their style, and also the flowers and backdrop, and also everything else.
