LONDON / WELLINGTON, 6 August 2024 – DAZN, the leading global sports streaming platform, today announced that it will become the exclusive rights holder for ’s club competitions in New Zealand for the upcoming three-year broadcast cycle, 2024/25 – 2026/27 inclusive.

Bringing Kiwi sports fans the best of European football, will broadcast games from the , UEFA Super Cup, UEFA Europa League, UEFA Europa Conference League and UEFA Youth League.

Fans will be able to enjoy an exciting line-up of top tier football from this month both live and on-demand.

DAZN will broadcast the UEFA Super Cup – a titanic clash between Real Madrid and Atalanta BC – on the 14th of August at 07:00 NZST/ 20:00 BST for free, as part of DAZN’s growing, industry-leading free tier, meaning that all the best action will be more accessible than ever to fans.

The UEFA Champions League play-off rounds on the 20th/21st and the 27th/28th of August, and group stages from the 17th of September are also on the horizon.

DAZN is committed to delivering unparalleled sports experiences to its subscribers, and will be offering a comprehensive selection of highlights, features, and news related to the UEFA competitions, showcasing the best goals, saves, players, matchday moments and more with English commentary. A range of subscription options will provide access to UEFA content on DAZN, including as an NZD 149.99 annual subscription (also available as NZD 14.99 monthly instalments).

UEFA competitions will join an extensive portfolio of sports content already available to DAZN’s users in New Zealand, including boxing, NFL Game Pass, Rally.TV and FIBA Courtside 1891.

Whilst the sample pool is small, there is still a clear and overwhelming winner with 61% of voters choosing 📱 Social Media as their news platform of choice, followed by 31% engaging with 🧑🏽‍💻 Online/Digital platforms.

Whilst traditional media isn’t dead, it certainly provides food for thought and validates the importance of working with social and digital platforms to engage with sports fans.

🎾 ASB Classic 2023 🏆 Launch

This time last year I was part of the team who brought the ASB Classic back following a 2 year hiatus due to the global pandemic.

From revising the brand, delivering a marketing strategy, conceptualizing design concepts with our design agency, planning to launch, bringing the marketing campaign to life and managing event comms and PR, I am proud of providing a full 360 campaign as the tournaments Marketing & Comms Manager in 2023.

A year later I sit back and reflect whilst being on maternity leave, and get to stop and watch another year of top quality tennis in Auckland, with sellout crowds and plenty of sunshine ☀️

Hello friends... so my little side hustle work-from-home events business has turned into New Zealand's first-ever Beauty Festival at Shed 10. 💄🪩✨nz 👈🏽

I'm sure the perception is that this is a huge event which must mean there is huge backing, little do people know that it's being run by a mum and wife, flying solo in business (with some amazing contractors who I am blessed to have), trying to create a little bit of magic from her spare room!

This dream has been 18+ months in the making, hit with many obstacles as so many other businesses have, and now, we're just days away and I can't really believe it. (Sat 6 and Sun 7 May, Auckland)

I'm excited to be hosting the first annual Sports Foundation Luncheon with Craig Monk and Grant Elliott on Thursday 4 March, which will see 2x America’s Cup winning grinder Craig Monk and Former Blackcaps cricketing hero Grant Elliott appear at the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron in Auckland.

The unlikely duo will join America’s Cup Reporter Jesse Tuke on stage to share their own life experiences in a Q&A style event moderated by Stephen McIvor.
