Markovina Vineyard Estate was established in 1966 and is located in the heart of Kumeu's wine making district. We have developed from a boutique winery into a function centre that is renowned for its personal service, tranquil setting and mouth-watering menu selection. The Estate is family owned and operated and over the last half century we have entertained thousands of satisfied guests. "Ratapu and I would like to thank you once again for hosting our dream wedding!

Every one of our guests were just so buzzed out with how amazing the food was, how the atmosphere felt and the waiters and staff of Markovina were top tier!

Such a cool buzz having Rina pouring out bridal party champagne on arrival!
Just felt the love all around from all parties. I’m now encouraging all my friends and family to get married and to have it at Markovina!

"Katrina was amazing throughout the whole planning
process and answered all of my emails promptly.

Will was the event manager on the day and we couldn’t fault
him. I wanted a day where we could just focus on our family
and friends and didnt have to worry about food, music etc.

Markovina provided this and we were able to relax and know
that everything was taken care of. There was lots of food
which satisfied all dietary requirements. All of our
guests commented on how delicious the food was

We had the honour of celebrating the wedding of Chelsea & Ralph this past Tuesday at Markovina, a beautiful celebration for a beautiful couple!

This also marked the end of our extended 2023/2024 wedding season.

We now have two weeks of closure, and some sneaky renovations to work through before we open up again on August 14th for our 2024/2025 wedding season.

Our towering Chestnut Tree is a perfect ceremony location in the summer and autumn months, and makes for a great photoshoot throughout winter and spring as well.

A beautiful spring day for Lilumi & Isaac, thank you for your very kind words!

"Gorgeous wedding venue.

We fell in love with it when we first visited and knew it was the one! So many places to take photos and hold your ceremony. Plus, the staff are super helpful.

Mark is super welcoming and helpful. Katrina helped us a lot with preparations and timelines and Maxine made sure everything went according to plan on the day.

Rina was also super kind and helpful! In addition to that, the food was absolutely delicious and there was plenty for everyone.
