I GOT A PROMOTION! 🥳

3 months ago I was promoted to a Mum of two when we welcomed this gorgeous wee fella, Zak John McKenzie, into the world on the 28/01/22. As you can imagine life has been a bit hectic since then, but we're loving every minute!

I still have a few digital prints in my shop and am just about ready to launch a custom family portrait range in time for Mother's Day next week! Check my Chooice shop for current designs.

He’s back!! Pom Pom the elf has returned for some festive fun. Seeing my 6 year old daughter’s face light up this morning makes it all worthwhile, shame he’s got to self-isolate for 7 days first! 🤣

Someone was a bit grubby from last year’s antics, here’s hoping he dries out before tomorrow! In saying that, he’s definitely going to be in quarantine for at least a week…I can’t do a full month this time around!🙈🤣 Who else does is doing Elf on the shelf?

Imogen lost another tooth today, that's 6 baby teeth gone already and she's only just turned 6 (they're falling like dominoes ha ha!). So today I made this cute tooth fairy bag and jar, so she can hang it on her door, making it easier for the tooth fairy to make her exchange. We’ve had the most Meowgical day celebrating Imogen’s 6th birthday!! She did challenge me this year by asking for a ‘Caticorn’ themed party! I must admit I thought I was off the hook when we went into lockdown, but she asked if we could still invite friends for a drive-by celebration and still do themed decorations and party bags, how could I say no to that face?! 🐱🦄🌈

After 2 weeks of annual leave and school holidays, it was back to juggling homeschooling and work today. We got off to a rocky start, then we were hit with the news that Auckland is going to be in level 3 for another 2 weeks! This is a reminder to myself and anyone else who needs to hear this today, stop beating yourself up, be proud of how hard you’re trying and remember it’s ok not to be ok. ❤️

Throwback to Imogen’s Trolls World Tour birthday party last year. I had so much fun creating this party at home for her, the custom made DJ setup was a definite hit with the kids! We were supposed to be having a party yesterday to celebrate her 6th birthday, but couldn’t due to being in Auckland at level 3 😢 It’s her birthday on labour day this year, so really hoping we’re able to celebrate with friends soon 🤞
