We delivered two custom-built stretch roof truss structures, giving Makita NZ a bold presence at the Auckland Domain for the Red Bull Trolley Grand Prix. The 11m x 9m product display structure featured custom branding and showcased a range of Makita products, while the 11m x 9m hospitality structure kept the crowd fuelled with pies and ice blocks and provided shelter from the occasional showers. LED screens streamed the live race action, making the Makita space a prime hub for fans to enjoy the high-energy day of racing.

We were brought in by Global Production Partners to install a 6m x 6m truss and stretch system for the Red Bull Trolley Grand Prix, creating the Four Square Supermarkets pit stop. The setup kept attendees fuelled on pies and pork buns throughout the day, bringing the space to life with a blend of function and atmosphere.

With world-class sailing as the backdrop, we provided over 300sqm² of high-quality infrastructure, bringing together structural integrity and considered design. From a fan store and Heineken hospitality bar to a premium grandstand entry and main entrance, every structure was built for impact and function.

This pop-up activation, featuring a private area for skin checks, product displays, and key branding, plays a crucial role in La Roche-Posay's partnership with Melanoma New Zealand.

Event Base continues to expand our SPACECUBE Modular builds at Auckland Airport, recently completing a high-spec Valet Kiosk within the new International Transport Hub. This 45 sqm project, designed and built directly for the airport, reflects their new branding and aesthetic inside and out.
The design features advanced functionality, custom cabinetry, HiMac counters, and feature-routed timber walls by ThreeSixty Ltd.

Bold branding and customised cladding, including our custom black-painted Spacecube units, were expertly aligned with the airport’s visual identity.

This marks our fifth Spacecube installation at the International and Domestic Airports, delivering semi-permanent building solutions to support their operations. The installation was completed within days, utilising day and night operations to minimise disruption. Event Base also provided a temporary valet solution by upgrading and relocating an existing Spacecube unit on the site, ensuring seamless valet operations during the transition.

Throwback to one of our earliest and most complex SPACECUBE projects delivered for FCB New Zealand.

There was no cooler spot than the summit of Snow Park in Wanaka for this Audi NZ activation, which showcased the incredible handling power of the Audi Quattro with an exclusive Simon Gault bistro dining experience.

It was definitely the first time our team needed snow boots as part of their PPE! This project remains one of our favourite challenges, with design and engineering ensuring the three-cube dining space could be safely transported and ballasted to withstand the icy conditions and snowfall, while also capturing the finesse of a high-class dining and premium brand experience with 360-degree views of the mountains.

🚘🌟 We’re excited to showcase our most recent SPACECUBE showroom for Winger Motors Hamilton MG. This installation provides a customer service office within the dealership’s existing yard footprint. Check it out, along with their stylish range of MG electric vehicles (with impressive battery life), at their Cambridge pop-up.

Offering both short-term and long-term leasing options, Spacecube modular system is the perfect blend of relocatable, customisable, and premium quality for offices and display suites.

What’s more, the modular system is highly engineered, with the capacity to support a vehicle on the roof, turning it into a prime billboard spot.

The Heineken VIP Bar transformed from daytime to nighttime at the recent Synthony in the Domain. The clever creative team at The Supreme Group enlisted Event Base to construct the 178sqm VIP structure in less than two days on-site utilising the SPACECUBE building system. Introducing - NZ’s first modular TV studio. Utilising @spacecubemodular building system, the TV studio is designed to be reconfigurable to different layouts and customisable to suit different production requirements or locations. Event Base delivered this 22m x 36m truss and stretch roof environment for @nissanNZ at Fieldays. Complete with platform areas showcasing the new Nissan Navara PRO 4 and Nissan Leaf, 4m printed panels connecting the outdoor area to entranceway with high visibility branding. We definitely count ourselves fortunate to have been hosting America’s Cup in Auckland with lively fan zones and to have that chance again for the final racing 🙌 Event Base delivered the truss infrastructure and signage for the main stage at the Village for Quintin and team at V3 Tech, alongside LED legends MonstaVision. One of the tallest truss structures we have built in the last year at 7m elevation, credit to our engineering consults Nick Barnfield and Ryan Hayden who helped us ensure a safe structure in the high wind zone of Te Wero Island. The structure had 36 tonne of built-in ballast, custom tensile walls and roof to meet Prada branding requirements. Have you tested your sailing skills on the Prada AC75 simulator at the Cup Village? You can still make a booking this week in L2. Event Base delivered the internal simulator fit-out for Giovanni and team at Prada Engineering, complete with internal black truss frame and custom built ramps. The simulator structure was brought over from Spain for this event by AMG Event Services (official structure suppliers to Prada/ COR36).
