The Caribbeanz Southern Stars Steelband first came together in 2005. It was the first full steelband in Aotearoa with players from all over the Caribbean and the world playing calypso, reggae, and popular music on the traditional instruments originating from Trinidad and Tobago. The band has performed across Aotearoa and also in Australia. It is always an honour for the band to perform for our African brothers and sisters. Everywhere de band playin, de people smilin!

Meet our beautiful sister, Nadine Nahimana of ORIKoL Production. Nadine is our Africa Day Festival 2024 co-organizer with ACOFI - African Communities Forum Incorporated and also the event producer. She's a talented DJ who is passionate about showcasing African music, dance, and culture. This year, she has prepared a fantastic lineup of artists, dance, and musical performances. Make sure you do not miss out this year!
