100 hundred baby Gum trees in the ground today before the rain wahoo! Thanks so much to Kylie for helping! The hole auger was broken and we needed to get it done before the rain so hand digging was our only option and may as well double up as our workout routine! It’s getting so hot now I couldn’t miss the chance to get these plants in for some natural irrigation. I Can finally tick off the list a major job that I have been procrastinating about for months 😂

Day 13 for these tulips in the vase! My favourite white/ pink parrot ‘cabanna’ still going strong but check out how stunning the purple Saigon is after reflexing the petals! 😍 what a star 🌟 We have a couple new varieties coming through now, a hot pink and white frilly called Neglige and a hot orange and yellow called Davenport.
As they age and the leaves start going yellow just trim them down, take the leaves off and pop them in a bud vase :)

Tulip check in day 7. Keep your flowers ( applies to all cut flowers) away from all heat sources in the house for a longer life span. Away from sunny windows, heat pumps, heaters and fires. At night put them in the bathroom ( most households shut the door to not waste the heat going in there) or even outside in a dry sheltered place, just anywhere cold.

Tulip check in day 5. You can display them on the bulb in just enough water to cover the bulb or cut the bulb off if that suits your vase better. If you don’t have flower food just a teaspoon of sugar and a a teaspoon of white vinegar per litre of water will keep them healthy. Change the water everyday for the longest life and if the stems are cut then recut them everyday by a half cm to keep the drinking channels clear. Sorry I often miss some information in my videos but I’ll try fill in the gaps!
