Early morning start for todays Pukekohe Farmers & Artisans Market. So far weather is on our side. All the usual yummy offerings with the addition of a Rosemary Sourdough and Sicilian Apple, Pecan and Pinenut Loaf this month.

NEW market this weekend - come join us at Pukekohe Farmers & Artisans Market. It’s looking like a fabulous line up of local produce and even hear there’s going to be some good tunes 🎶

Introducing local Pukekohe couple Philip (Michelin Star chef) and Stephanie from the The Difference Catering Company.

They relocated their catering company to Pukekohe in 2022 and as well as catering to smaller, more personal local functions they have developed their 'TABLE' range of condiments to enhance your meals.
Plus as a side line Philip has started making Organic Sourdough Bread which will also be available at the Pukekohe Town Square Farmers & Artisans Market.

I for one can't wait to try some of that Sourdough! 🥖

Winter Warmth

The weather is right to get the crockpot out and do some slow cooking.

Christmas Day done and dusted - finally manage some very long overdue time in our neglected garden. Got some more sweetcorn in today, rockmelon, heirloom tomatoes and lettuces. All the Christmas meringues made over the last month ensured we have plenty of egg shells to ward off the slugs and snails.

“We really enjoy cooking but that’s only half of the joy of it. When someone employs a caterer it’s usually because the event is really important to them, whether it be a 21st or a big corporate do. We love helping make it really special and it’s such a thrill when you see the client enjoying themselves with exactly the food and vibe they wanted to create. You don’t get that working in restaurants. We love food but we love people too and this gives us the best of both worlds. “
