Laura and Chris wanted to celebrate the best of their two cultures in the giveaways they shared.
While our groom chose to giveaway whiskey shots from his family's distillery in Switzerland, our bride brought in the fun, with all those iconic English sweets ( from Percy Pigs to Jelly Snakes) which we thoroughly enjoyed setting up for our couple's lolly cart!

After years of guiding many couple's on that important ceremonial walk, at DU Soirée we love the jubilation and happiness we get to see.
As they say "a picture is worth a thousand words" and this picture is a true reflection of our dashing couple, Laura and Chris's walk too as it rained rose petals! Their walk was nothing short of pure joy, with jubilant cheers all around, after a beautiful ceremony officiated by Wedding Celebrant - Laura Giddey

Life should always be celebrated and what is life without cake?
And what is cake if we can't celebrate it with the ones we truly love.
At DU Soirée we created the right setting, to have our bride's gorgeous handmade candles in memory of loved ones who had passed away, surround our bride and groom's very elegant wedding cake by Cake & Co.
Not to forget the beautiful cake ornament heirloom of doves. A family wedding heirloom to the bride, which sat ever so sweetly on the top of the cake.

The perfect way to head towards the end of the evening.. filled with drinks, lots of dancing and laughter, is with coffee martinis to go hand in hand ( shout out to Jesse and Jessie - Wedding Photography weddings for great alternative shoot ideas!)
It was a real joy and pleasure for us to work with Angela and Gene and to share glimpses of what made their event beautifully chic!
We will remember them both very fondly; for the most chilled and relaxed groom we have met to date and a real rock to our bride Angela, who was noting short of a superwoman ( multi tasking a wedding with study and work)!
I and all the vendors on site can attest to the wonderful families they both have.
Who made everyone feel so welcomed and showed such warmth and hospitality. Making all the vendor's services that came together, that much more filled with joy in ensuring this amazing couple's vision came to life!

Angela and Gene's wedding reception was a joy for us to setup, where romantic minimalism was at its best! A beautiful play in styling with different textures and layers in white and black.
Which made the perfect contrast to the evergreen lushness at the Morningside Glasshouse , making it "Oh so very Chic!"

The first glimpse of our stunning bride Angela stepping out of her classic Rolls Royce, which is just moments before she is to walk down the aisle - to who better than your own mum to calm one's nerves before you are to embark on a new journey!
What a pleasure it was for us DU Soirée as planners to see how the walk through at the rehearsal went through seamlessly on the big day.
Everyone in the groom and bridal parties played their parts beautifully to the lead up to a lovely ceremony, filled with so much love, beauty and grace.
