Here is our sports draw for for week 6 team. Please make sure you keep an ear out for the notices/social media for any changes during the week. Don't forget you need to have paid your fees to the student center by now. Team training times haven't changed for week 6, so please continue attending these. Communication is key!

🏐🏋️‍♂️🏉JC SPORTS WRAP UP FOR THE WEEK 🏐🏋️‍♂️🏉

S̲e̲n̲i̲o̲r̲ ̲M̲i̲x̲e̲d̲ ̲T̲o̲u̲c̲h̲
Our senior mixed touch team had their first round of games this week on Tuesday nights playing at Rosehill College. Our students are very athletic with very little touch IQ but have learnt so much in the space of a week to come away with 2 wins on the night. Our coaches & ex-students Joseph & Glen Green were very impressed with the team efforts on the night. Looking forward to next weeks games.

10 of our students attended the Oceania weight lifting championship held at the Due Drop Event Center. It was an awesome opportunity for our students to see first hand the talent we have in Oceania in the world of weight lifting. Our students who attended have shown interest in weight lifting and were amazed by the talent shown on the day. Especially from a 14 year old Fijian boy who broke the Oceania record & gained a PB in his weight class. Another good day exposing our students to the opportunities available to them.

Results from this weeks games. Our girls played SEHC losing 2-1 & beating SCC 2-1. Our boys lost against SEHC & Macleans college. Back to the drawing board for both teams for next weeks games 🙂

S̲e̲n̲i̲o̲r̲ ̲T̲a̲g̲ ̲F̲o̲o̲t̲b̲a̲l̲l̲:̲
Our senior tag football teams played in the CSA senior south/east tag football tournament today at Ngāti Otara park. Our senior boys team played in a qualifying game vs Pakuranga College to qualify for the CSA Auckland champs held on the 4th of April. Our boys had an awesome game & won 5-1. Congrats to our boys.

Our heartfelt congratulations go to local legend Kacey and his teammate James on their outstanding achievement. Like all of your friends and whanau we are very proud of you and look forward to seeing you competing in Paris in July and August!
