As a part of the 2024 Whau Arts Festival, Whau The People Charitable Trust are putting on a free gig at the Suburbs RFC Clubrooms - 200 Portage Road on Saturday, September 21, and we're looking for bands, solo acts, and duos who might want to play.
We'll provide sound, lighting, and a tech, and will also pay all performers. If you're keen, please get in touch with Bronwyn on 021 913 423 or [email protected] before August 23. Please tell us a bit about your group, and share any links to recordings or videos if you have them (no stress if you don't).

Another fantastic event held at the Suburbs Function Centre.
This was a fundraising event, a ‘St Patricks Day’ themed quiz night; we were able to adapt our lighting to the ‘St Patricks’ theme, and the client was also able to use our projector and screen for their quiz.

🚨 March only - No Carpet = No Hire Fees!🚨

Like many others, in the recent bad weather our clubrooms got flooded and we had to take up our carpet. ☔️
There’s a bit of a wait till our new one is in stock so because of this we’ve decided to waive our hire fees for March only! 🥳

So if you’ve been thinking of a get together in the next few weeks, get in quick there’s limited Saturday’s available.

* No Carpet = No Hire Fees
* $1000 bar minimum spend
* Bond, cleaning fee and usual t&c’s still apply

Highly Recommend Happy Kids Face Painting.

Pilar was absolutely amazing at our Juniors Christmas Party last night! It’s was an absolute mad house, many more people than we had expected but Pilar managed to paint everyone who wanted one with a smile on her face the whole time!

What a massive turnout! Thanks so much for coming in and supporting the club, we hope you had some fun, we certainly did!
