Our next Sculpture in the Gardens exhibition opens on 16 November, but you can enjoy world-class sculptural works all year round at the Gardens.
James Wright’s large fantastical creatures made out of corten steel are inspired by the Gondwana Arboretum where they are located. Made in 2015, his ‘Ratiti Mya’ suggest the flightless ratites, to which our moa and kiwi are related, that roamed Gondwana millions of years ago.

We took the opportunity to utilise a stretch tent that was installed in the Glade Garden at the Auckland Botanic Gardens.

We are on the hunt for models for a photoshoot on Thursday 18th July during the day at Auckland Botanic Gardens.

This will be based around a wedding ceremony setting, in multiple locations and spaces within the garden. We require a bride and groom with your own outfits.

What a great article published in the Manukau Courier, about the Artists Working Day we organised for Sculpture in the Gardens. The event was held at Auckland Botanic Gardens where we were able to meet the artists and view where their new works will be placed.
