Oak Tree Cottage has been hosting weddings for the past twenty years and it is now time to hand over the reins. We are happy to announce that we have sold the wedding part of our business to Lynne and Rob Hammond of Longfield Estate and they are happy to take any future wedding enquiries.
We would like to thank all the brides and grooms that have celebrated their wedding day with us at Oak Tree Cottage.
With our very close large extended family, we have celebrated a lot of family weddings here and it has been the best times for us all.
I would also like to thank my husband Russell, and my two daughters Laura Jean and Amelia who have helped over the years, working endless hours planning and organising for many of our guests. A family effort that extended to sons-in-laws and cousins at times.
Russell and I are truly blessed to have had this time to share our property with so many unique and beautiful people that have made our small business thrive. We have enjoyed hosting you all with endless memories to look back on.
Our final wedding was in November 2022, this was a family occasion and one that was the perfect note to finish on.
Thank you to everyone that has contributed to helping us over the years Russell and I very much appreciated the team effort.
I wish Lynne and Rob all the very best with their new wedding venue business. I know they will have great success with their new venture.
The Hammond's can be contacted via email:
[email protected] for all wedding enquiries.
Below are just a few moments captured of the many beautiful weddings we have enjoyed.
We have no plans to host any more events and wish to enjoy a quieter chapter now with our ever-growing family at Oak Tree Cottage.
Kind regards and best wishes,
Russell and Nicola Kerslake
