We have some very exciting news!

Over the past few months we’ve been working hard on a new development and are so excited to share that Country Co. will soon be opening a cafe - “The Bale”, just outside of Cambridge. A brand new space that’s totally ours to be built into a reflection of who we are and what we do. 🐮🌱🧁🍔

We will be finishing up our time at the Cambridge Golf Club in the coming couple of months before getting hard to work on the tools to fit this building out. Very soon, this space will become the new hub for Hautapu businesses, trades and residential to enjoy our same delicious food in a cafe environment. Our catering will continue to operate as we grow into an even bigger kitchen space.

We are so excited to be finally sharing this news and cannot wait to have a place where we can see so many faces day to day. Stay tuned as we share more updates and progress along the way!

December has been full on! Delicious finger foods, platters and buffets going on everywhere with multiple days on end of 200+ people.

Workshouts, birthday parties, end of year Dos, weddings, golf club tournaments and Christmas events, professional athletes, corporate functions and sports teams dinners among a few! Hundreds of Christmas tarts are still heading out across the country and our fudges entering Christmas stockings.

The team has continued to grow and we are so grateful for the opportunities that continue to head our way for your catering within the Waikato.

We are in our final stretch of big bookings before taking a short break, back onto the farm and ready to kick into our 2025 calendar! 📆

Our much loved Christmas Fruit Tarts are back for another year! 🎄🎅🏻 Last year we went through a truly insane amount of our homemade fruit mince mixture by popular demand. This year, we’re back and ready to fulfil your Christmas gifts, lunches and celebrations with our same and very popular Christmas tarts.

As our mixture gains flavour for a long while, it means that the amount we’ve pre determined to have available and had soaking for some time will be all that is available. We are already receiving inquiries, so we are opening these up for pre order this week to avoid disappointment. Please reach out to secure your boxes via message or through our online store. We can ship these across the country!

Also coming very soon as part of our Christmas gifting range is our beloved fudges and rocky roads among others. - custom gift boxes are also available.

Catering is in full swing at the moment! While our calendar is booking through heavily till mid next year, we still have a couple of spaces available for work bookings and end of year functions. A week of buffet breakies, lunches, dinners and desserts amongst running a cafe and external catering going out as well. Over 1800 servings went out from the team - quite the initiation by fire for us at the Cambridge Golf Club kitchen where we are also based now. We put out absolutely beautiful food and displays in keeping with our brand. Proud of the growing team 🌻

I had full intentions for months of making a video to share in reflection of an incredible year of growth it’s been the day we turn one. I truth, I actually missed Country Co.’s birthday back in February when the company was registered and the kitchen started its build. Then I missed my one year since leaving my full time career in April too. So here we are, in September, when the kitchen itself has been open and trading for one year today!🥳

A significant milestone to reflect and acknowledge a life changing and incredible year of growth it’s been. A year of dedication and devotion with challenges in the current market and climate as well as wearing all the hats to a rapidly growing business. We’ve become known to markets, trade shows, corporate and global businesses, entered our products into stores with daily deliveries and had countless private celebrations and weddings.

Many have noticed tools ticking madly behind the scenes to our latest development, which to officially announce from the 27th September, we will also be taking over the Cambridge Golf Club as their permanent onsite caterer! External catering like we’ve been doing is still totally on our radar - with bookings pretty tight through till early/mid next year. Our farm kitchen will also remain operating; a significant part of our brand and story. This is an opportunity for us to have more stability and consistency, as well as a venue available for private bookings!
