Buttonhole or boutonnière - whatever you call them, they are one of my favourite things to make for a wedding.
It’s about the little details and the whimsical touches.

The vast majority of grooms choose to wear them, along with their groomsmen and the fathers of the bride and groom.
A small but integral part of the whole floral package.

There seemed to be a lot of vibrancy in the past wedding season’s florals.
However, there were still plenty of pretty pastel palettes.
Whatever the scheme, I love whatever it is I’m working on at the time. Every bouquet becomes my ‘new favourite’.
I’d hate to have to choose for myself if I were to get married again. (I’m not planning on it! 😆).
It’s important to me to supply flowers that my clients love. I offer ideas and advice, but it’s so important to listen and honour the wishes of the most important people on the day: the couple getting married or the host of an event. It’s all about respect. 💕🌸

I love having colourful phaleanopsis orchid plants at home, especially in the Winter. They bring a welcome shot of colour and the more exotic looking, with splotches and stripes, the better! They flower for months, when little else is blooming.
Such a great investment to bring some exquisite colour to grey days.

A little mid-week beauty spot.
The flowering bulbs you buy in a plastic pot don’t have to stay in that plastic pot.
Get creative with re-purposing beautiful items as planters.
Just pop some gravel in the bottom for drainage and a little moss on top for interest and be lean with watering.
