Directed by acclaimed theatre maker Lizzie Tollemache (Treasure Island, King Arthur, Friends With Boundaries, and The NeuroSpice Girls), this original work devised by the 2024 Youth Company captures the last hoorah of school, adolescence, and living at home - as they step off the precipice into adulthood with all the fears, joys, and heartbreak that journey brings.

From actor training with our Youth Company or Improv and comedy with Jester Youth Company through to stage management, tech or design with our Youth Crew. There is something for everyone!

Audition applications for Disney's The Little Mermaid JR. are now open! 🧜‍♀️

We are looking for two casts of talented 7-18 years of age only (as of 3 July 2024) to perform this show. Children who love acting, singing and dancing are all encouraged to apply. This production will be embracing diverse casting practices and roles are open to all. 🎤 🎭

Congratulations to our 2023 Senior Theatresports Competition winners, Papanui High School!

It was a fantastic competition with tons of talent from across Canterbury. Well done to all involved!

Next stop, the Junior competition, where 26 teams will come together on the 4th and 5th of November to try and secure a spot in our final on The Court Theatre main stage!

Have you heard about our touring school shows? 👀 Every year we have Primary School Tours as part of our Court Education Programme. This year we’re reviving our successful show, Māui me te Rā which will be touring Canterbury primary schools. This unique production introduces audiences to the iconic character of Māui and shares with them a version of the traditional Māori myth of how he slowed the sun.
