It’s 3:30am in the morning and I’m working my self into the ground to get this new website up and running for you guys and to make sure all the information is there and where it should be.

Thank you to the guys at CODOS that have been working hard behind the scenes to get it to this point I really do appreciate it and I can’t wait for everyone to see it.

Thank you to everyone that has continued to hire castles thoughout the winter you have really been saving my business from receivership having no website has taken a large financial & mental health impacted on myself and the business, I know finding the information hasn’t been easy so again THANK YOU for working with me I really am trying.

We are just having a bit of a tidy up and we are getting rid of two of these commercial grade bubble soccer balls. We paid $900 each for them one has two little pin prick holes that can be easily fixed and one has a bit of an issue around the straps, but can be fixed to.

The unfortunate truth of owning and running a business.

Running a business is really hard and I'm not sure how much longer I can keep fighting for.

What they don’t tell you is that it can cause severe stress and anxiety and drains you mentally to the point of depression at times in even the most laid-back people.

People will talk about you, compare you to others, use you, they will view you as a service and not a person anymore.

Friends and family may expect discounts, and people will value you and your hard work less than a big chain store.

You have to worry about if you forget to email/message someone back. Are they going to think it was on purpose? Did you disappoint them? Will they hold that against you? When in reality, you just can’t get to everyone’s messages and emails.

Starting up and running a successful business puts incredible strain on personal lives and relationships, many of which fail because there is just often no work-life balance.

You need to be the director, the worker, the admin, the marketing team, the accountant, the cleaner..... All whilst being a parent, a husband or a wife, family support, a friend...
There’s a reason you don’t see many people succeed in small businesses after 5-10 years. If they are successful, they are overwhelmed.

It takes a toll. It’s freaking exhausting. Especially the past couple of years when so much has been out of our control.
Here’s a small reminder that we are just normal people with hectic lives.

Be kind, be patient, and support small businesses…….and hopefully, more of us will stick around!

Yesterday marked the last day of the season for our beloved Dragon and Bump & Slide castles! But don't worry, they're not gone forever! We've made the tough decision to pack them away for the winter months. Their size and weight make it challenging for a single person to handle.

Rest assured, they'll be back and ready for hire in September when the sunny days return! 🌞🎉 Until then, we have plenty of other fantastic options available to keep the fun going during the colder months.

Hey Everyone. Just an update on where we are at and the website.
Seems like having no website is starting to take a bit of a hit on us. May has only 5 hires at this stage compared to 25 last year, so it's not enough to cover the costs😭.

Our website was deleted without any notice after 14 or more years with the company. I wasn't able to get a hold of them via phone or email to find out what was going on its just gone 14 years of data gone.
We are working in the background to get a new one up and running that will also bring some much-needed changes to the business.
But in the meantime, I have spent about 7 hours of my day collecting all the data, FAQ and all the other stuff and putting it onto a document that you can now all access.

Happy new year everyone

Just a post to see if anyone is able to help out Erin and Luca so he can enjoy a bit more of this beautiful summer

Erin has been a customer of ours now is our chance to give back.

Luca is a very smart, funny, active and large 6 year old Autistic child from Christchurch, New Zealand.
He loves Disney movies and the corresponding soundtracks from all his favourite movies, all things water play and food is the love of his life.

Luca struggles with anxiety around shopping and often with other outings that should be fun.
The “unknown” timing/location/expectations are a huge trigger that can result in him trying to run away, becoming aggressive, laying on the ground screaming and sometimes becoming an unmovable statue.

He has been squeezing himself into a pram meant for babies/toddlers which is both uncomfortable and unsafe so if you are in any position at all to donate anything towards Luca getting a new chair it’s going to make there year.
