Then, gracefully hand over the pouring duties to your trusty bar service staff.
They’ll ensure that any remaining glasses are filled to perfection.

We’ve been styling weddings since “styling” wasn’t even a service anyone sought out 🤍
Styling weddings has always been our “thing”. And we’re damn good at it – we’re usually a lot more humble about these things but when it comes to social media, it’s getting much harder for you to separate those who have the experience and credibility, to those who may not ✨📋
We’re not like anyone else – and we’ve never been quiet about it. You won’t find anyone else in New Zealand who can offer what we do. We take care of all of your styling – with every single detail designed and put together by our in-house team. We don’t outsource - we are a bunch of creative stylists, floral designers, and graphic designers who also have one of the most comprehensive hire offerings to boot 👏🏼

Are you making these mistakes?
✨ Making plans before setting a budget:
We often think about the venue, photographer, videographer and caterer. But small details like lighting, transport, invitations and envelopes, wedding website, alterations all add up quickly.
✨Overlooking the guest list:
Make your list and check it twice! You don’t want to miss anyone important, but you do need to be realistic as to what you can afford.
Our two rules?
• Would you invite them over for dinner?
• How do you feel about working X amount of hours in order to pay for them to attend?
✨Not setting expectations with bridesmaids:
This is a HUGE topic in the lead-up, so many brides being upset that their bridesmaids aren’t stepping up or being as excited as they expected. Have a chat and set your expectations!
✨Oversharing with family + friends:
We know you’re excited and it’s hard to keep things close to your chest – but be selective. Not only do you give away some of the guest experience and surprise, but you’re also opening yourself up for opinions and unsolicited advice.
✨DIY is cheaper:
We often see couples over-extending themselves with endless DIY projects, or buying things thinking they’ve nabbed a bargain without a clear vision of what they actually want. So many clients believe it will cost them less money to DIY aspects of their day, but often it costs the same (if not more) than to reach out to a pro.
✨Micromanaging vendors:
You’re investing a lot into your day so we understand you want to tick things off and control all aspects. Let your vendors do their jobs, this is their area of expertise- you’ll have the best outcome if you allow them to do what they do best.
✨Not having a runsheet:
It’s important to have a timeline in place to allocate all the setup and festivities. Share this with your vendors so everyone is on the same page. Not everything will go to plan, but at least there is a plan in place!

She is our dynamic Events and Logistics Coordinator, which is a fancy term to cover all of the different tasks she does – from answering enquiries, creating bookings, consultations, scheduling delivery and collections to on the day – providing wedding coordination, setting up and styling your wedding or event to perfection! 📋📩
Ciara has been with the Little Hire Company for 1.5 years now, moving up here from Wānaka ✈️
She’s bubbly, detailed, incredibly helpful and friendly – she loves to connect with others and she makes these bone-chilling winter days bearable (not just because she turns our office heat pump on for us) 👌🏼
