Minuetto (a dance for two) is our newest addition to the reserve range🙌

A blend of the best components of tank, whole bunch fermented Sauv Blanc with 150 days on skins with 40% barrel fermented Semillon. Both from our 40 year old un-grafted vines 😍

Thanks for another epic festival. You absolutely nailed the vibe. Great mix of wineries and food offerings. Awesome layout and venue with such a vibrant, fun snd respectful crowed. Christchurch really is on the up and up and the festival crowd is clear evidence of this 🍷❤️

Thanks also for having me host another North Canterbury seminar. Really great audience with lots of interaction.

Lastly thanks to the Pegasus Bay and Main Divide dream team who rocked our 2 stands. Absolute bunch of legends 🙏🙌

Why hi there little critter 😍

In recent years we’ve upped the anti by encouraging biodiversity threw out our vineyards to contribute to soil health. Every second row is left un mowed and has a cover crop to encourage a more diverse ecosystem reducing the need for chemical inputs.

We don’t claim to be pioneers in this space but creating a healthily environment for our vines has always been a focus, so this is just another measure we’ve been using for a few years 🐞🪲

A Birds Eye view of our River Block at our Home Vineyard. You can see one of 12 wind machines we use across our sites for frost protection 💨

They worked their magic on several occasions this frost season by blowing down warm air and raising the temperature, just enough to avoid damage of the new shoots 🌱🙌

Sunrise over the River Block in our Home Vineyard 🌞

The Teviotdale range of hills in the background is one of the key geographical features of the Waipara Vally, from a viticultural point of view. It provides shelter from the cold easterly wind, increasing the daytime temperature significantly. This helps us to achieve optimum ripeness 🍇
