Addington Raceway The home of entertainment in Christchurch, Addington Raceway concentrates on harness racing, events, functions, venue management and property development.

Addington Raceway is the home of the New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club, Spectators Bar and Bistro, the NZ Trotting Cup and one of Christchurch's leading event & conference centres. From school balls, to meetings, to weddings, trade shows and and corporate conferences our Events Centre covers it all. We host free to attend Harness Racing Meetings every week and on the second Tuesday in Novemb

🎄✨ Meri Kirihimete from Addington Raceway!

As the year winds down, we want to say a huge thank you for your incredible support throughout 2024. What an outstanding year it’s been, filled with thrilling races, unforgettable events, and amazing moments shared with all of you.

Our office will be taking a break and reopening on Wednesday 15 January, but we’re already looking forward to what 2025 will bring - starting with our Back on Track Races (Friday 24 January). Tickets are available now, so gather your friends and whānau and join us to kick off the new year in style!

Together we are working to improve mental health - let’s redefine what it means to be in racing by making the wellbeing of our people at the centre of what we do.

OnTrack's programmes are designed to help you face challenges, build on our combined strengths, and support each other - invest a little of your time to make a big impact. There are two upcoming sessions in Canterbury, open to all involved in racing:
