My first time doing a plaster cast with flowers and I found it such a wonderful process. I finished it off with some watercolours to add a bit of fun as it’s going in my daughters room. Spot the cute little strawberry flower down the bottom 🍓 who else enjoys using flowers in different mediums? Happy Friday flower friends 🌻🌸

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how I’m in the thick of mum life 3 kids 5.5 and under 🤪 all needing of my EVERYTHING. I had babies and felt the need to get straight back into doing weddings otherwise I would be left behind, forgotten. Other florists would come through and I would have to start all over again. I didn’t want to do that, sit back while others were progressing. Through taking a break I’ve been reminded of the way and style in which I love to create and won’t be so caught up in following trends, because I have the confidence in myself that when I’m ready clients will come to me for what I can create for them in my own unique way. Lately being “just” a mum is more than enough for me and I’m soaking up every moment of them being little and needing me before I’ll have all the time to play with flowers 🌷🌻

Fun clay craft with the girls. I feel like most of my flowering seems to involve them in one way or another at the moment which can be non-relaxing for me but hopefully inspiring for them 🦄 Anyway I love this simple and elegant look that adds a bit of interest and pretty to my shelf.

🌟teacher gift idea🌟 my two Pre schoolers had lots of fun filling these Christmas decorations with lots of pretty little bits. Its easy and extra special that it was done by them. I got these empty decorations from spotlight but a search online will show you where else you can get them. Fill them with dried flowers, dehydrated orange, cinnamon sticks, star anise. Whatever look your going for it will be sure to make a teacher smile 🌼

Bouquet inspection 🧚🏼 always incredibly daunting. Have I interpreted what the bride was trying to explain? Have I made what they envisioned? The creative industry is a hard one as everyone interprets things differently. It never gets less scary doing the flower drop off 🔅
